This is more proof that Progressives were never about helping children or being their advocate. It's nothing more than sheer hatred and Progressive agenda

IgnorantBliss said it best: "social engineering run amok".
I still want to know who choreographed the project at the curriculum design level and what their major course of study was. I would like to know what "groups" this individual is associated with, and what exactly their real agenda is.
Teaching about slavery is social engineering?Binding their hands and forcing them into a dark room? For crying out loud ..,,it's not rocket science I've seen it already now when an average citizen approves this as an educational tool

. I've never seen it...so this makes it ok to institute it in the public school system? Way to justify .....oh the Jesus people do it so the public school system is entitled ... geez. So do they bind the students hands and put them in a dark room in Jesus Camp?

Justifying it? What is wrong with you? Anyway my point is you keep putting this on the "progressives", when conservatives do the same to the children. In the movie they even forced the children to worship GWB! If you condemn those Christians then you'll get some more credibility.

Be willing to concede this particular situation has secular humanist Progressive divination justice warrior roots?
So you are justifying this method of education on the basis it's only 2 hours versus a lifetime? That is a purely relative statement. I guess torture of having bamboo shoots driven under your nails for two hours is also justified if it stops American GIs from fighting Communusm in behalf of American an Imperialism ? After all what's two hours ? Also how does punishing students today affect the "lifetime of slavery" that they had nothing to do with? Is it going to stop slavery today? Right let's punish all these kids for something they did not do for the sake of teaching them how evil slavery is......this uscreally a bunch of crazy nonsense dreamed up by Progressives who must likely have been brainwashed themselves. It is evil at its root. John Dewey couldn't have been more happy at this use by the State to make children vehave the way the State wants.

I actually do think there is binding in Jesus camp, I have to search for a source, but in the mean time, consider it was for 2 hours, while watching a movie, an event where students normally aren't allowed to move and tussle about anyway.
Jesus Camp is not for 2 hours, that is a movie for your convenience of not having to experience Jesus Camp. Similar to how 2 hours is a convenience of time to experience being a slave, verses say, forever.

bingo
But what I'm getting at is why. No one has given an adequate answer on that front yet. Gut feelings may be enough to state an opinion, but it doesn't involve any reasoning as to why you hold that opinion. What's the basis for it? Is it an opinion that's logically consistent, and therefore worth considering?

Oh they will work together, and I can guarantee there will be no more act like we are slaves and slave ship captains.
That was auto correct and I fixed it. Teaching black history is not binding kids hands and putting them in dark rooms to get the point across. I cannot believe this level of obfuscation and justification abd now I think you just want to win the argument.

No. You assume that. Teaching black history and doing skits have nothing to do with your word salad. And the children have not been harmed in this. 10 years of doing this proves that. No trauma at all.
