Waititi explained that Grandmaster does not have blue skin in the film as the character does in the comics, because Goldblum had already played a blue-colored character in Earth Girls Are Easy, and because Waititi did not want to detract from Goldblum's personality by concealing his appearance.

It's not me that I'm really worried about.
I just don't want anyone messaging or bothering her or my x-wife.
I'm hoping to keep them out of all this.
If, one day, they decide they want to say something, they will.
I'm trying very hard to show them respect.
By keeping them confidential, I hope they recognize my respect for their privacy.
And hopefully things will work out for the better and everyone will be happy.

Whoa you're right, the Grandmaster is Blue skinned in the comics.
Interesting, hmmm.
Now that reminds me, when I was a kid there was only 1 comic I did read. I had a subscription to it for awhile - Silver Surfer. I didn't really read other comics at all, though my neighbor had a huge collection of Spider-man comics.
For further information purposes, I did collect cards and play video games as a kid, and would play make-believe games with the kids down the street like superheroes or soldiers or whatever, along with traditional sports of all types.
I have watched a lot of the Marvel cartoons, which I find much better than their movies. But I do not derive most of my knowledge of their fictional universe from those cartoons, I gather most of my information from experts and from wiki investigations. Keep in mind that I have two kids so I'm pretty informed about even the newer stuff as well as the stuff from when I grew up.
I think Ragnarok will be a good flick though, and I also think that Jeff Goldblum will play a good Grandmaster. Cate Blanchett will probably do a good Hela impersonation too.
The reason I personally like the themes is because the only actual comics I've read since I was a kid was Guardians of the Galaxy, it's spinoff Angela, and the Uncanny Avengers series. I was doing research *wink wink*.
So check this out, from the Wiki:

Earth Girls Are Easy which is about aliens coming to earth to pick up chicks.
That totally plays into mythology and legend. In most cultures we have stories of aliens/angels coming down to screw human women, and then of course resulting stories of hybrids.

I'm 36 right now. Kinda funny.
Think about it though, do we ask dogs or cats if they are ok with us keeping them as pets?
Do we ask mice if it's ok to experiment on them?
Did the animals at the zoo sign a lease?
Isn't it sorta hypocritical of us to treat all the animals around us even worse than the E.T. treats us, yet we find huge problems with how the E.T. abducts us without asking?
I think we really need to stop mistreating the animals around us first.
Like the very concept of a zoo needs to at minimum change drastically.
We need to at least ensure that every animal is happy, has tons of room, is treated very good, and has a wide assortment of breeding options. Something like that.
I firmly believe we are suppose to be caretakers of the Earth and it's ecosystems, but what have we done to it? What are we still doing to it?

I was in the Army, Cavalry I BARELY understand politeness myself...civility was a weakness there and replaced by words starting with "F".
I would be PROFOUNDLY disappointed if they had the same hang ups WE do.
