Can't be any worse than the crap I hear on the radio these days.

Just wait till some annoying tune comes out with the stupid frog and a trump voice.

On the radio?
How will you be able to tell it's the stupid frog if it has Trump's voice?

What sort of actual numbers do the terms "plenty" and "many more" represent?

Similar to your 'pretty much' I'm basing it on what I see and hear from people I know, concensus in debates I've been part of, tv debates, opinion pieces and open forums such as twitter and here. And the well known fact that the world is not solely black and white, left and right - despite many's desire for it to be this simplistic.

How do you quantify your 'pretty much' statement?

Like two peas in a pod. I think Franky secretly has a mancrush on Trump.

Of course I can't speak for everyone but can we stop with the judgemental stereotyping where one side is dumb and the other clever?

I didn't call anyone dumb , there are those who are informed and others who are not.
Those who have no real interest in politics are more likely to respond to dog whistles than those who understand what dog whistles are and why they're used , that doesn't make them dumb , just easily manipulated.

Yeah, the world is full of wankers - that phrase could summarise most celebs.

that phrase could summarise most celebs.

Yeah. We're lucky enough to have one as our leader.

Yea for us.

Comedians have made political correctness part of their self-definition, ever since about 1980, and "writing for the Guardian" rather gives that away. Not a neutral viewpoint. Have you got any evidence for "most of"? All public media are necessarily skewed to represent those with the loudest voices, which is not necessarily an objective reflection of the people at large.

I'm British and I think Trump is doing fine. Frankie Boyle is a washed up comic who makes jokes about disabled people. He somehow has managed to reinvent himself as a darling of the Left but I find him, and his humour, completely repulsive.

I'm American and I think he has no idea what he is doing.

Yep, the world has gone completely and utterly mad. There's no going back and I have given up! All I can do is pay off my mortgage as quick as I can, sell the house and move me and my family to a cave in the country.

Head in sand? It's the most painless option.

Thread was about Boyle talking for the majority of British people.

Why not start a thread about how Kathy Griffin talks for the majority of Americans?
