Do you think the USA will invade Iran?

i am new here and was woundering what you people think about this issue
i have been led to belive that iran have nukes, and we know americs don't like nukes

I think the U.S. might do covert operations to help dissident groups overthrow the government and could do airstrikes against targets thought to be involved with Iran's nuclear weapons program. I don't see a full Iraq-style invasion at this point, but don't rule it out.

Easy question, just ask yourself what would israel want.

Invade, no. Airstrikes, yes.

No , 1. US strikes, 2. Iran plays dead, 3.US moves in, Iran fires sunburn missiles and sinks carrier fleet. 4. US beginds ceasefire negotiations.

I think cover operations are still being carried out in Iran, i know that potential airstrike targets are being picked out as we speak. I cannot see a full-scale invasion either.

Can some one out there please tell me how does a chicken sound like?

I mean how do you type a chikens sound?

i know that the USA do not have the resourses at the mo for an invasion, but if they do decied to bomb the contry, do u think it would result in a large scale religous war. muslims atticking non musilm contries like the uk america russia and china, evntional leading to world war. and maybe a nuke war?

Funny, not "impossible" , but I doubt the US would go for ceasefire negotiations after losing a carrier fleet..

Covert OPs in Iran will not effect a regime change; Everybody HATES the US in Iran...even those protesting against the current govt..

Air strikes possible, though I REALLY dont know/can't predict if the US will go for Iran..an interesting/frightening series of developments im eagerly following..

The US' actions are impossible to predict as of now..
like a big jungle cat that has just turned into a maneater...

Funny iraq didnt have sunburn missiles.....and if it did then they didnt have the airforce range to reach the carrier fleet which iran does have.

You sent 3 last time ( acording to AMM up there) so 3 battle fleets amounts to 17, 490 lives alone on carriers, 1092 for cruisers , 1956 on destroyers, 387 lives on subs now this is suggesting that the Carrier and several of her escorts are hit by the new sunburn missile and all are totaly acurate, now this is a worst case scenario that accounts to 20,295 lives totaly lost or wounded.

The US will not invade Iran (YET).
N.Korea poses much more of a threat at the moment.
Publicly announcing that they have nukes is like telling Bush and Blair they wanna fight.

when he knows they can launch nukes on the west coast of the US

Did you think Bush would invade Iraq when they were telling us Saddam could launch Sarin tipped warheads within fifteen minutes!!!!

Any attack on NK would limit that. Besides if they did launch a nuke at the U.S., it would be their loss....

As far as Iran:
Airstrikes, Special forces - possible
More funding to opp. groups - yes
Invasion - no

I was watching the news last night, and Iran warned that if we do try use airstrikes or what have you, that Iran would retaliate... Not that this would stop us, but i just see this as another precursor to something much, much bigger...


BTW, I think a chicken would be like Bkaw, bkaw? what do you think?

If (i mean when) Bush/Blair attack NK there nuclear capabilities will be first on the list of targets for airstrikes. And Bush/Blair will know that the only way to stop them, is going in very fast and very, very hard...
