What do you call him in your private moments ... come on, you can tell us.

You've seen my MOSES thread, have you not? But I'm beginning to think that Donald Trump is more like one of the 12 Apostles. Haven't settled on which one yet.

Judas perhaps...sold out for 30 pieces of silver, the ultimate businessman, just like Trump.

If there's one whose name means "tiny hands" in Aramaic, I'd go with that one.

I don't know, Trump and Mad Dog projected as holograms from a few wings of triangle ships and a carrier or two slowly floating over a division of humanoid mecha announcing the US Space Forces to the world.

I guess ignorance is bliss for those in power.

What are amendments... bill of rights? Whats that?

Never mind, they haven a parade. Goes lockstep to sound of marching boots.

Why would you have a Parade for the military? I haven't met a single person who thinks that is a good idea and I live in a base town in SC.

I think people not in the military think it's a good idea. Maybe you should ask the people your supposedly honoring.

Then you may realize it's just because Donald Trump wants one.

I think it's a sign of weakness personally to have to show off. Again everyone knows we are the best. They have to buy our older tech for their new militaries.

Also the argument that we waste more money on other things you don't agree with is never a good defense for conservatism.

Like hey they waste money it's our turn.

Bring on the jackboots. While I recognize the bravery of our soldiers, the truth is that they fight for the interests of the one percent which generally are not aligned with those of the working class. War should be used only when all other measures break down, and American utterly fails in this regard. We used to created a false flag incident to justify war. Now we just do it. I guess the Nike slogan rang loudly on Capital Hill (capitol is less descriptive); our leaders took it to heart.

Awesome. Greetings. In Poland its the same. For many its an honour. They dont think about heat or cold. They do think about all these people in the crowd gathered there to pay soldiers the tribute they deserve. ITS A HOLY DAY.

I don't remember Antifa shooting into crowds of people with "live ammo", have I been living under a rock? Antifa are a bunch of assholes and provocateurs but that's not something they've done as far as I know. If they've suggested it then I guess they're no better than the poster who suggested it here.

Antifa praised the shooting of Steve Scalise on Twitter:
truthfeed.com...

So , you simply did not know ? Are you just a typical plain ignorant libtard or do you actually support Antifa ?

So let's be clear here - the OP stating he'd love to see it as a tribute to our military, is not at all why Trump wants it. Let's be honest here. From Trump's own mouth:

"having a really great parade to show our military strength.."

That is why he wants it. He said nothing about honoring our troops. He also said that France's parade was amazing.. and of course, he said he wants to top it. So he wants basically to show off our strength (still in a d*ck waving contest with Kim I guess), and wants to be the best, he can't let France beat the U.S. in a military parade, after all. If going to propose this, let's at least be honest about the "why."

What Trump understands is some of the other countries mostly run by dictators is showing off their force and muscle and the U.S.has become weak in the eyes of some enemies in the world. This weakness happened under Obama.

I am so glad it's come to this. I honestly wanted to give Trump a chance but it's getting a bit ridiculous. The founding fathers are vomiting right now...

Oh boy, let's MAGA by emulating two-bit dictatorships. Now there's a plan.

Why are gays, lesbians, transsexual, bi-sexual, and asexual people honored with their own parades every year?

i feel like there's not much point in even telling you this, but pride parades originated in a time when gay people had to keep who they were a secret in their everyday life, or face social censure and danger of violence or arrest. and gay people in many communities do still feel they have to keep themselves under wraps. pride is a day to be themselves, freely.

i don't know how you can even compare it to the notion of having a day to celebrate 'the military' -- which will really just be about some big dick, look at our tanks posturing so president play-actor can feel like a big rough rootin-tootin cowboy.

you want to celebrate troops, bring them home. fund the VA. not this horse crap.

You've given a very good analogy here. Let point out that that's exactly how we feel about our military and it's people. Politically incorrect. Often blocked from recruiting/promoting in our universities. Looked down upon. Yes, even physically attacked. Sound familiar? This is OUR pride. OUR love and respect of this group.

Do not insult us with 'cost'. None of you raised that issue when Obama was President. Don't like it? Welcome to the world of Socialism and enforcement. Right back at you!

In a way, yes. It IS an analogy, however. For me it's more of a talking point. LOL. I DO honor our military and find giving equal merit to the gay and transgender 'community' as ludicrous.

The gay and lesbian community organize their own parades.

It wasn't the military that asked to use the taxpayers money to throw such a silly thing. We are strong because we don't need to whip out jumbo.

People can hit play on their satellite footage and put in an order for our scraps.

Your silly. My admiration.

Your approval isn't required, simply put. Having said that, you've have been heard, sir.

What's even more old than that, is how the left screeches at every turn anyone on the other side of the spectrum says anything. (Case in point, your post.)
