The f-22 will be in range of the su-30's radar but the su-30's radar will not be able to pick the f-22 up because the f-22 is stealthy whereas the su-30 isnt.

Ive heard that the us government always give out under estimates of their warplanes stats and the russians always give out over estimates. if this is true then what are we arguing about. the s-400 (a missile designed to make money from export) against a plane that is even better than we believe it to be.

Are all russians ignorant? From the russians i have seen on this thread, they all swallow the russian governments propoganda hook line and sinker. where as americans (im english if anyones intrested) research the subject and find proof and sources.

Stealth spy: the f-22 is ment to be invisible to all types of radar including awacs. also the su-47 is only a technology demonstrator and therefore is unlikely to ever face an f-22 in combat.

f-22 is not invisble to radar. it has a lower radar reflection meaning the further it is the harder it is to lock onto to. some of the latest radars can actually detect stealth aircraft upto 50>+km away but they have problems locking onto them although the latest russian radars may actaully be able to lock onto them altough this is unknown becuase there are no combat records for this. the only thing stealth does is give the aircraft increased chance of survivale against ground based radars meaning it has to be closer to the radar for it to destroy the aircraft.

i think ur wrong because u need a good x band radar to lock onto it stealth reduces the range greatly less than a mile for example it reduces it toa range where there is no tactical usefulness plus do u hav any proof russia has such a radar and plus russia has no way to test it on an advanced aircraft like an F/A 22 if theres one country that can counter stealth its the Us because they know way more about their stealth aircraft while the enemy doesnt know much so the Us has by t far the best chance at countering stealth plus stealth spy the SU 47 wouldnt detect the F/A 22 stealth aircraft have very short detection ranges an F/A 22 will destroy well before it can get into detection rage ( which is most likely a few hundred feet the F/A 22 has the longest ranged radar on an aircraft in the world it even rivals AWACS radar the actual range of the radar is classified.

The B-2 was not tracked on radar as most people believe but by an electro optical tracker. Nothing to worry about. Problem is that if the electronic tracker gts a hold of the plane the radar and be aimed at it and its power boosted to get a lock on. The B-2 has very thick RAM on the leading edges making it hard for radar to lock on to it including VHF radars (which are capable of engaging F-117 aircraft). B-2 is in my opinion still stealthier than the F-22. The F-22 is very metallic...designed to be reflective...but B-2 is still better.
