Lee was a hurricane that came off the African coast last week. It has died in the eastern atlantic way out there.
Katia went over the Yucatan peninsula as I think a cat one. That was while Irma was wrecking Florida.

I think we've now passed the PEAK of the Hurricane season. Unless something has changed with the air/ocean currents and temps, we should see a reduced number of tropical depressions...and more of them acting like LEE did.

Peak season doesn't end until November 30.

The hurricane season runs from June to November. Peak hurricane season is late Aug to mid Sept and its absolute peak is on Sept 10. The day Irma hit Florida. It's like a graph and were still sliding out of the peak season . It was a very hot summer over the Atlantic and we may see a few more big ones before it cools off enough to matter.
Most years I don't even start watching for storms to affect the U.S. until August.
Usually about the time they get to the letters f,g,h, and I. Of course we get them earlier but mostly if they hit us they are later in the season.

Hurrican Maria was manufactured by Germany and The Netherlands, to destroy the Caribbean as much as possible and to create migration crises in the US, especially in Florida. It looks like all the EU can do is to foment illegal mass immigration anywhere in the world. The Vatican and the UK are fully involved in this as well.

Those treacherous Dutch, eh?

I had no idea that the EU and the Vatican was responsible for Hurricane Maria. Thanks for the heads-up. Don't bother posting any actual evidence, I'll just take your word for it. Not.

So much water out there, yet these hurricanes seem to always manage to find the islands.

Category 5 landfall. Puerto Rico and the other islands will be destroyed. My prayers go out to all the islands.

Hurricane Jose is still out there too off the east coast trying to sneak in.
