a reply to: network dude>>>> I don't have a specific voice that I read posts and hear, but I do sort of characterize them and vision some of the posters in a certain way. If the poster is a strict left winger with a party line belief that has no variation, I see them as sitting in a cubicle somewhere in DC working for some lobbyist group, subsidized organization or even the DNC. They may or may not believe what they post but they get paid to do what they do and that's their prime motivation. If the poster is right wing, I figure they're out there on their own and their agenda is most likely on the up and up, right or wrong.

But if you know you're crazy which means you're not crazy, than you think you aren't crazy so therefore you ARE crazy!

Hahahah!

Wait...what?

LesMisanthrope always sounds like a mix of Alan Watts and Bertrand Russell, even though I know he's not British!

I would love to know what i sound like in other members heads , because i have dozens of different voices for members here , think like you have just inhaled a lung full of gas from a helium balloon and let your imagination go wild

All New Yorkers sound like joey from friends to me - hey how you doing

in real life i sound a little deeper that David Tennant from Doctor who

I always imagine you are leaning back with the posibility of a wry smile but your accent is somewhat neutral in accent, you always keep it pretty short and to the point like you are trying to minimise the effort while managing to convey all the needed information and cntext.

Try it. Its fun.

Interesting topic. A few that jump out at me..
For some reason, I always read BFFT in Patrice O'Neil's voice, including the laugh.
Augustus is read in a Jay Mohr voice.
DB sounds like a drunken, beligerant Orson Welles in my head:

Sublime is read in a Mel Gibson voice

Wow you just nailed me 100% you must have my web cam hacked .

My accent is very neutral so much so that English people think i am posh English ,Scottish people mistake me for English ,yet i am from the Highlands , and the inner couch potato is world class in finding the easy way to do something ,

Glad to see you back and hope life is treating you good bud

Funny, I actually have been told I sound like Bridges before. We have the same slightly raspy voices.
