i have a friend who is protesting in st. louis today. she lives in st. louis, as i did for 10 years. we both know why she's protesting, and what you think about it in your armchair, in your life where you are not at risk for standing up or at risk for living, is irrelevant.

that's all.

1st of all im not a armchair warrior. I've already taken and passed the Police Exam. So ill be the one out in riot gear while your butt hurt feelings out protesting.

True signature worthy material here, haha

The DNA doesn't link the gun to the cop. The cop handled the gun after the fact, of course his DNA would be on it. That doesn't prove anything. The perp's DNA not being on it doesn't prove anything either, there are all kinds of explanations for that as have been laid out in this thread multiple times already. The gun was, however, found in the car with the perp. You can claim the cop planted it but there's no evidence of that. There were literally dozens of people at the scene by that point and no one saw him carrying a large, full-framed revolver to the car. The judge stated the gun was too large for him to have concealed in his pocket or waistband without being noticed. It would've been routine for them to try to demonstrate that during the trial and see whether it was possible. With no evidence to the contrary, the gun was obviously assumed to be the perp's since it was found in the perp's car.

I will never buy in to the lack of jobs as an excuse for rioting thing.

Have you ever heard of rush hour traffic? Do you know what it is? Its MILLIONS of people who do not have jobs in their neighborhood. The difference between them and you is they drag their tired butts out of bed early in the morning and drive to where the jobs are. They don't stand on a street corner saying, "Bring me a job!" They went out and found one for themselves. I have had commutes more than an hour one way into another state because thats where the job was. Not having a job in your neighborhood is not an excuse for anything.

That's a real good point. Only a few have jobs they love and/or are convenient.

Every day I'm driving at least an hour each way to my job, as are numerous others. It's a sacrifice. No one hands you # in this life. You go out and get it, work hard, then hope that opens doors to something better.

Even at 21 I was up at 4:30, driving 45 mins to my job, got off at 5-6, then about 75 min commute coming home. Are these clowns making that sacrifice? No, it's just give me, give me, give me. Well what are your skills? I can roll some phenomenal blunts. Ok, I'm not hiring you. Racism!

This thread is riddled with posters projecting ridiculous hyperbolic statements lol. It's been entertaining

I'm not saying the cop did anything. I'm saying it provides doubt though.

Cops aren't supposed to handle "Evidence" like that. What part of that don't you get???

There's a reason cops wear gloves and put stuff in little baggies and stuff ya know. The idea is to not taint the evidence with other DNA. Ya know why??? Because it gets thrown out because it's not good evidence.

You obviously just can't imagine a cop doing anything dirty to frame someone or save his own ass for doing something shady. Well, that's your choice but I'm not lost in a fantasy world as to assume just because someone is cop they must be good and honest all the time.

I'm not saying either way what happened here at all. What I'm saying is that gun shouldn't have been allowed as evidence against the suspect.

Criminal cases shouldn't be allowed to just "Assume" the facts.

Kathy Griffin is the product of an unholy coupling between Pee Wee Herman and an angry mole-rat.

FACT!

You're referring to the St. Louis suburb of Ferguson?

Yeah. Not that it burned down or anything but people did light buildings on fire.

I dont really have an opinion on the case itself. I dont know enough details to have one.

ETA: Or i should say I havent taken the time to learn them all so I cant have an informed opinion of the incident at this point.

I just want to know;

In all the burning and tearing down and looting, why is it that bars, liquor stores, get torched and IRS offices never do?
