Well your book is just that..your book. I know many rebublicans and democrats making 50,000 a year ( The Rich according to most liberals) with a house payment, kids in school, and working from daylight to dark trying to figure out why they are living in the same houses as people who have, for whatever reason, decided that something about them has entitled them forgo education and employment and be supported by their neighbors. These are people of every race who embrace none of the bad qualities you've listed who just want to be able to benefit from their daily work. These are among the people you include in your blinded hate.

Some of those of whom you approve;

Spend their days between sleep and intoxication without even a concern for who's working to pay their bills,

Spend their days trying to ban SUVs ...but its okay for them to drive them..they're entitled.

Spend their days trying to ban cell phones..all but for them because they need mobile communication to plan rallys..after all they are entitled. I once sat through a presentation on why it was important for my state to place an emergency halt on cell tower contruction..and wouldn't you know when she got on her liberal soapbox, her cell phone rang!

Spend their days trying to ban guns..all but for them and their bodyguards..after all they're important, celebrities,and entitled.

Better than you and I, all knowing it whats best for us but not ever considering thyat they themselves should fall under the same laws...because they are entitled.

Spend their days trying to keep abortion legal but its a good damn thing their mothers didn't think that way! huh? Somehow, their lives are more important to humanity than that of any child whos mother and father seeks to relieve themselves of the responsibility of their actions.

Spends their days trying to protect the rights of vicious killers who have willfully denounced their humanity by the vile acts they have commited against innocents whos rights and liberties are never considered by them.

Spends their days trying to tear down the soverighty of the US so that we can lower our standard of living to that of the rest of the world instead of working to bring the rest of the world up to ours.

So, its hard for me to see that the opposition to all this is all bad. Like I said, I once did. I also see the bad side of conservatism too. But to put forward that what I have listed above are the acts of the virtueous instead of the acts of people that shouldn't be representing our party is the catylist that has propelled us into our current position. The sidelines.

That was good. I was taken aback for a second. Yes, I agree. The Barbara Streisands (whom I never liked), the elisitists, of the party seem to have gained power but, that isn't the core of the party.

However, these are minor issues. People have been dying sonce this man was gifted into office. Here, Iraq, Afghanistan. How many people have to die beofre we wake up? How many jobs have to be lost under this regime before we wake up? How many times do we need to be lied to before we wake up?

Colonel, well good to see we agree on a few things anyway. On your subject of "How many people have to die before we wake up?" Oh I'd say about 3000 or so when the WTC went down. My dissapointment in our government as a whole in the last 10 years is the failure to bring Alqeada down totally. I think on 9-11 the gloves came off and mine are still off. How many terrorist attacks does this country have to endure before it finds the cojones to do something about it? WTC 1993, Murrow building, USS Cole, 2 embassies in Africa.

Now as far as Iraq, I'm not sure but anytime old saddam takes a hit, it can't be all bad, remember when Clinton hit him? I was all for that too, Monicagate or no Monicagate. You can't say hoorah when Bubba does it and bitch when Bush does it. Gotta pick a side and hang to it. I think many of our democrat leaders made the decision to back both campaigns on the information presented to them. I can't say I would have done any different at the time..especially in the post 9-11 realization that we can be hit in the US at any time.

What you must not lose sight of is that reguardless of political affiliation, we are still in the sights of every freedom hating dictactor in the world because what we breed is infectious and threatens his grasp on power.

As for how many jobs have to be lost...well your talking my game when you talk economics so we might not want to get much into theory. I don't want to go into the havesine wave and supply/demand ratios and that sort of crap. The economy has suprised me I will say. Not Bush but the American working people...On 9-11 when I saw the WTC go down, I predicted the end of the economy. i predicted total breakdown. Although we came close, we managed to pull ourselves up and take it in stride. Now, we're seeing our government willing to tighten their wasteful belts to spur business growth so I'd say if the terror attack that is predicted for the 4th should miss us, we'll see new growth in the decade ahead. Yes, it will take time as it takes time for any stimulus to affect such a huge economy ( though it seems dissasters have a much faster one). Don't forget the natural dissasters that the US has delt with this year. Don't get me wrong, I'm not praising Bush for this but my praise is for the American people who keep on keepin' on every single day.
