Bottom line: Caring about what celebrities think may be pointless, but the reality is that when they spout off their mouths and insult people during a charity event that should not be politicized, there can be and usually are negative consequences.
“Anyone who believes that there’s no such thing as global warming must be blind or unintelligent.”
The word bellyfeel refers to a blind, enthusiastic acceptance of an idea.
"Consider, for example, such a typical sentence from a Times leading article as Oldthinkers unbellyfeel Ingsoc. The shortest rendering one could make of this in Oldspeak would be: 'Those whose ideas were formed before the Revolution cannot have a full emotional understanding of the principles of English Socialism.' But this is not an adequate translation. [...] [O]nly a person thoroughly grounded in Ingsoc could appreciate the full force of the word bellyfeel, which implied a blind, enthusiastic and casual acceptance difficult to imagine today." — Orwell's 1984 appendix[12]
Time to move on, at least for me. I would recommend most do the same...

Well, he is correct.
One must be blind or stupid to at least not consider the information in regards to global warming/climate change.

Singer Stevie Wonder kicked off Tuesday’s star studded Hand In Hand telethon to raise money for hurricane recovery by getting political. Wonder started the show by saying, “Anyone who believes that there’s no such thing as global warming must be blind or unintelligent.”

That was his first comment of the night. Way to appeal to the whole audience there Steve.
But I digress. I'm ready to believe. In fact, I'm full blown "into it". Now, what do I do different? (besides not have to go to jail now)
What changes? did the world just get a bit brighter? Did I save a few starving kids in a third world country? Did I single handedly stave off the next great hurricane? Or is everything the same, and my belief really doesn't change anything at all?
