Can we just admit that any group will cling to a political party as long as that political party serves the needs of the specific group?

The reason you see it so often is because its true...

Is it? How many liberals have you talked to with falsified voter registrations? Because as a liberal with many liberal friends I don't know one. So I'm curious how you, a not liberal, seems to know so many. I'm guessing you don't and you are just repeating conservative rhetoric and probably missing the obvious irony you are displaying.

Most of them

Probably 80%

Like I pointed out in the other thread that this OP couldn't bear the thought of his super original thoughts not being seen by everybody in, we have several hard-right members that think anybody not as hard-right as them is a leftist. The fact that the majority of the political spectrum, and indeed the majority of the right, is all to the left of them doesn't seem to matter.

That's a pretty sad and pathetic hobbit hole of mental retardation they inhabit.

It's the echo. Their little hobbit holes are constructed so that the sound of their own voices echoes perfectly, thus confirming their every last thought.

And we get to the core of the problem. They're creating their own enemies.

I guess that gives them a chance to feel like martyrs since 'everyone is against them'.

.. Should I remind you that democrats and the left in general these days want "open borders, to give up every nation's sovereignty and in general to give control over all nations to a global group such as the UN"

I'm so sure. I'm a democrat and I don't want that.

What is that last thought? 'Me good, not me bad'?

Gotta anything to back this up? Link articles? I would be willing to entertain the idea if you have evidence to back it up.

Other wise I am just going to take this as nothing more then a spurious fact pulled from the ether of the bull bumhole.

The historical demographic is pretty consistent. But the thread is about the party affiliation - which is a matter of historical fact and is being denied by the left who have a penchant for re-writing history.

Considering you're not talking to someone on the left and I already pointed out their origins when I also indicated where they reside now I would think my non-bias would be obvious.

As for joining you in the 21st century...I am in no particular hurry to join the likes of blm, antifa, etc. I do not consider that progress in any way shape or form. In fact, it seems like the photo negative of the original picture of the kkk. Exact same image with the colors reversed.

Want me to discuss those groups nd how much I don't like them? Start a thread, this one is about the Klan.

This has nothing to do with your bias or lack of one and I never eluded to that in the first place. I never said you were a democrat and I don't care either way.

You intimated that adhering to the ideals of the kkk is not aligned with modern, supposedly more sophisticated, thinking. I demonstrated that the modern versions of the kkk (blm and antifa) are no better than the old one. My point is that here we are in the 21st century and things have not improved on either side. In fact, I could make the argument that they are getting worse. The democrats started the kkk in the past. In the present they started blm and antifa - mirror images of the kkk. Not only have the left not advanced to the 21st century, they seem intent on remaining in the uncivilized past and repeating the same bigoted racist hateful mistakes as they did the last time.

If history was a person reading the OP it would be banging it's head into the table right now.

I am pretty certain you wouldn't recognize history if it hit you in the head with the largest history book.

And I'm pretty sure you'll show up with Hitlers "Mein Kampf" and call it the "largest" book of history.

Apparently if I don't agree with him I'm automatically on the opposite end of the political spectrum as he is.

And we get to the core of the problem. They're creating their own enemies.

Well. It was only a matter of time. You can only go so far into the extremes of conservatism before you start eating your own. Blame the insult "RINO".

No, it most assuredly isn't.

The modern version of the Klan is still the Klan since they are still around and with almost no change in mission statement.

Those other groups are filled with asshats but aren't the topic of this thread.

Considering the source?

Definitely not. And if, somehow, there is one....I'm 100% certain it cites unnamed sources and is a blog.

I know I am just trying my best to hold people accountable to the things they claim.

I guess it's a lost cause because anybody can spin anything any way they want this day and age.

I agree in part, but I cant let you invalidate the fact that it was democrats who started the kkk, a hateful mistake of an organization, in the past. And in the present they are repeating that mistake in the form of the blm and antifa. It was between the past and present democrat constructs that I drew my comparison, not the past and present kkk.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Oh, come on, let's just all acknowledge that these Democrats who founded the KKK (three times) were all just good ol' White Christian boys and move on.

With the shifts in ideology in the political parties in the late 60s, now, the modern KKK is made up of White, Christian men who support Donald Trump and are usually Republican.

No shame in admitting the truth.

So, I wonder if the OP would have a heart attack to learn that the Republican party was founded by Socialists?

He's said it was started by democrats twice. How's that invalidating the fact that democrats got together and founded the KKK?

It seems as though you believe everything bad in this country is the fault of white christian males.

I would prefer to just say that people screwed up in the past, and are intent on screwing up in the present as well.
