Ats is the bomb!!!

Have been lurking here for a few yes, and decided to join in. I am a member of a couple other forums, but I like ats because the insults are kept to a minimum and the discussion is usually of a higher intellectual quality.

As a daily visitor for the last 8 or so years, Iv recently become a bit disenchanted with ATS. I'm not about to start one of those " ugh ATS has changed!" Threads...tho I do think it's kinda true.

But that could change with you!

I too appreciate the general civility here... its really the best place for news and general info of what's going on... in the last 8 years I'm usually ahead of the game on my social circle as far as what's happening in the world, and that is thanks to this place.

Thanks for reminding me of how classy ATS is compared to some of the other sites that discuss this sort of thing.

What you mean is that the sarcasm and insults are of a higher high brow quality where most don't recognize them as such due to their low brow understanding of what makes a high brow insult.

In other words you're saying we have tact....

like when i boarded a flight and saw my friend Jack. hadn't seen him in ages - all i did was shout 'HI, Jack!' down the aisle and everyone went nuts.

Long time lurker here too. I always check out ats before I go to bed
