In case you missed it, Imran Awan is reported to have struck a deal with the Feds. His wife, Hina Alvy and their children agreed to come back from Pakistan where she fled earlier this year.

A laptop was found in a booth off a hallway across from Congressman Meeks office. It had Imrans ID and "letters to the U.S. attorney" in order that it be treated as evidence when discovered. There was also the famous laptop that first belonged to Debbie Wasserman-Schultz before more recently she denied it was hers. They opened up the lid and the login prompt reportedly had "RepDWS" displayed. Oops Debbie in trouble.

Later Imran attempted to flee to Pakistan but was stopped at Dulles Intl airport. Hes been wearing an ankle bracelet with GPS and restricted to a 50 mile radius around his residence.

Just this afternoon, the TruePundit site broke the news of an immunity deal being negotiated. The "FBI sources" this follows a familiar pattern and I'll believe it until I don't.

From TruePundit

The legal teams for Imran Awan and Hina Alvi are close to finalizing immunity deals with the Justice Department that could spare them jail time in exchange for testimony against sitting members of Congress, federal law enforcement sources said. FBI sources familiar with the case said late Friday that Imran Awan’s legal counsel was “deep in the process” of structuring an immunity deal for himself and his wife with Justice Department lawyers. The deal would allow the couple to freely testify against any or all Democratic lawmakers they worked for as IT specialists, including Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz. True Pundit reported on Thursday that the couple was working on a plea deal to avoid prison time. But on Friday federal sources said those talks had progressed into a likely immunity deal for the duo.

We shall see what happens but I predict that with the storms raging in the Caribbean, they'll give Imran immunity and bury this quickly. Right now the "sources" indicate the following regarding the charges against Imran:

He has only been charged with bank-fraud crimes related to trying to flee the country with cash, which is why its inclusion in discovery suggests prosecutors intend to bring charges related to the underlying cyber security and theft probe.

What is left out of the charges we know of so far are the allegations by George Webb. George, after 323 days of a crowdsourced investigation found information/metadata that he puts together as a RAT line. Much like Iran Contra, but on steroids. He claims there is evidence of using cars in shipping containers which are marked as "diplomatic pouch", they steal cars in the US, load them with drugs, weapons, depleted uranium and such, and sell them all over the world using diplomatic travel infrastructure (mostly shipping) But that's another OP I hope to read someday.

If you browse Georges Youtube channel and sample some of the videos you might get sucked in.

I do think there is more going on than meets the eye. Awan has been with access to congressional networks for up to 14 years according to George. Luke Rosiak, who was the first online news media to break the story, puts the number of years to 8 I think. Anyway, the point is he's been there for years with access to, as far as we know, the (this is important) non-secure networks in congress. Some of the congress members sat on various committees, including the house intelligence committee.

My prediction is they will let him walk under an immunity deal. He will testify against congress members and probably ruin some carreers. Whats important to Deep State is that the RAT lines are not exposed. Amazingly there is zero mention about them.

H/T to George Webb for the truly inspiring job he did exposing to the public what was going on. Also his followers who produced things like packet traces, logs, VIN numbers etc and helped do research. Truly amazing to watch.

Props to Luke Rosiak. The only journalist to investigate and have the guts to go public with it.

I think this is huge with potential to take down a significant number of public/political figures. We've seen the rabid opposition that to me always resembled fear of deep secrets being revealed. This is also party nuetral. The reason why Trump has said ZERO about this and DOJ has been just as silent could be because of Jared Kushners reported links to the UAE ambassador :

Kushner tied to UAE diplomat snared in scandal involving embezzlement and trafficked women: report

Yousef Al Otaiba sounds like a questionable character. Read more about him HERE

This is the kind of conspiracy I really like and kinda miss on ATS. There is a whole lot I left out but if you scratch the surface you dont need to look far.

Oh, Crowdsource the Truth has also been instrumental in the investigation.

Edit to add: Brietbart is now carrying the story with more details: Brietbart

Nice find.

Smells eerily like those immunity deals that never mounted to any indictments let alone convictions. Some folks just aren't bound by the same rules as us plebes.

Question in my mind, well I have lots, but why leave the laptop to be found with incriminating evidence, try to flee the country months later, and then work a deal...? aren't you supposed to hang on to evidence and make the deal using it as collateral? Confused and suspicious...

Well if you can't trust an anonymously penned story using anonymous sources, what can you trust? Am I right?

One thought put forward by George Webb is that maybe Awan and DWS were going to pin everything on someone else, and that someone else put it there to frame Awan. The logic from there is that Awan received a tip from DWS that they were going to indict, and he tried to get out. Oh incidentally, DWS brother is part of the office of the prosecutor. He's not directly involved in this case but has recently made a statement that the case should be dropped. Not suspicious at all. Move along, nothing to see here!

I've been following this since January. Luke Rosiak started in February and George started in October of 2016. There were times through the investigative process that there were wrong conclusions but the investigation continued on track. I see no reason to doubt Luke's reporting. He put a lot of research into this and based on some of the information he had and what was later announced by the Govt, his sources were good. Beyond all that it all just follows the familiar pattern of government trying to rush something through while nobody is looking. The hurricanes are a godsend for these people. Maybe HARP is real and they engineered the storms (j/k)

Interesting tidbit, although Georges investigation started in October 2016, the first 52 videos were mysteriously deleted. The theory is that it was part of Youtubes crackdown on "conspiracy" or "fake news". If you go to watch the vids you start on Day 54.

Thought I'd add the first of the George Webb series (Day 54). An incredible amount of information is included.

Well, folks, as things usually play out with misdeeds among the government crowd, if these perps get immunity than that means that no one will go to jail, or be charged or will be forced to resign. They'll get letters about violating the ethics of their offices but barely a slap on the wrists. The IRS case, "resolved" in the last few days has taught us again, if you want to be some sort of crook, get yourself into a government job.

I'm not sure this is over yet. While Imran may receive immunity, this conspiracy envelops many people and spans ~10 years. Georges investigation, if you watch the video from day 54, was originally targeted at illegal arms trade and pay to play.

Today he talks about it calling it Awan Contra. The breadth and scope of this is amazing. And if you read the article by the intercept you'll see that this is a story with legs that real journalists can cut their teeth on.

George isn't finished. Already two videos today.

Update on the Imran Awan Plea Deal:

Ex-Dem IT aide Imran Awan poised for plea deal, after months of mysterious delays

Imran Awan, the former IT aide to congressional Democrats whose federal court case has drawn the interest of President Trump, is poised to strike a plea deal with prosecutors, court filings indicate.

A Tuesday filing said a plea agreement hearing for Awan and his wife Hina Alvi has been set for July 3 before U.S. District Judge Tanya S. Chutkan in Washington.

The filing did not reveal any details about the terms of the apparent agreement. But in court documents last month, prosecutors hinted that a deal could be in the works.

I hope they get some useful information out of him as part of this plea deal.

Perhaps we will find the REAL source of the Clinton/DNC email leaks?

Reports suggest Awan, who worked for former Democratic National Committee chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz and others, could have been involved in a cyber breach operation, something his legal team vigorously denies.

Those "sitting members of congress" will definitely include Debbie Wasserman-Schultz. Her behavior is trying to protect Awan doesn't allow any other interpretation but that she's trying to hide something serious. The Awans provided IT service for around 30 congressman, all Democrats. Of course, that doesn't mean all 30 did something wrong.

No, but there is more evidence of collusion with a foreign power in that event than in the last 2+years of "rushia".

Sources tell me that the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force has been looking into this matter since well before Awan and his crew of Pakistani congressional IT aides were booted off the House computer network in February 2017. Sources also say that investigators were particularly interested in whether anyone else in the congressional offices that all of these IT aides worked for was involved in alleged improper activity. This might include Rep. Wasserman Schultz, who was the Democratic National Committee (DNC) chair when she employed Awan. It might also include former Rep. Xavier Becerra, D-Calif., who employed Awan when Becerra was chairman of the House Democratic Caucus. Becerra is now California attorney general. “The House Office of Inspector General tracked the Awans network usage and found that a massive amount of data was flowing from the (congressional) networks,” said Rep. Scott Perry, R-Pa. “Over 5,700 logins by the five Awan associates were discovered on a single server within the House, the server of the Democratic Caucus Chairman, then Rep. Xavier Becerra of California. Up to 40 or more members of Congress had all of their data moved out their office servers and onto the Becerra server without their knowledge or consen

wow

Heck, there's every reason to think that Bill Clinton's $500,000 "speaking fee" (from a Russian company) was really a payment for Hillary clearing the Uranium 1 deal.
