Who remembers when Donald trump was on the campaign trail and when he spoke about making deals with politicians that he said take the very first offer they make?
Remember when he said that?
No I don't either.
Pretty much what he said was if you can't negotiate with a politician you're nothing.

So what happened yesterday with our resident negotiator in chief?

He gathers all the little chieftains to his teepee. Sits them down and says okay what have you got?
Paul Ryan says $14B for Texas and 18 months to raise the debt ceiling.
Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi say $14B for Texas and three months to raise the debt ceiling.
So you'd figure that a skilled negotiator would end up at around nine months to raise the debt ceiling.

But noooo.

Trump hears the democrats offer and says
OKAY.!
No negotiations not talk.
Just belly up okay.

www.politico.com...

Donald Trump, who casts himself as a master negotiator, took the first offer Democrats put on the table.

epublicans left the Oval Office Wednesday stunned. Trump had quickly sided with Democrats on a short-term debt ceiling increase, even overruling his own Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin to concur with "Chuck and Nancy," as he later called them on Air Force One

What's going on here?
Ryan is pissed.

Yeah it doesn't really matter if the first deal is reasonable for everyone, if you take it you're a cu-ck according to alt-right politics.

"The enemy you're sitting on isn't drowning till water hits your own mouth."

It's basically fat-ass politics.

Ah, yes, it always makes me smile. Trump does bad things to the left, hate him. Trump agrees with the left, hate him.
As long as the stupid stays constant, we will have consistency.

Ryan is pissed.

Maybe Trump was sending a message to Ryan.

What have Republican legislators done for Trump?

Oh my god!
Trump goes with the democrats.

Maybe both sides should take notice and maybe give up a little and cooperate with each other.

Heaven forbid that the country might just be better off if the legislature actually tried to get along.

I believe that the fact that The Art of the Deal was written for Trump not by him tells us all we need(ed) to know.

Maybe Ryan's "attitude" is by design.

More than one way to skin a cat.

You can say anything you want about Trump, I could care less.

It's just funny to see individuals whose entire life has been consumed by crying about Trump and playing a victim.
