I cant imagine you need that much of the 30.06. Arent those shot primarily from lever action rifles anyways? Perhaps drop that down to 1k, and get 4k rounds of the .223/5.56mm instead?? Should be cheaper and more effective in a scenario where you would need them in self defense.

30.06 is a bolt action rifle commonly. Very accurate long range and not much kick compared to other .30 cal rounds...never jams something you cant say about ar15s in.223.

you know what thats correct, I fudged up and made the connection to 30-30! But still, rarely is it ever shot in a mode requiring that kind of stockpile. Its mostly a hunting round, which is quite effective for human threats as well.

ahh well, it was just in humor I guess. Sorry for being a stinker flatbush!

A high end AR manufactured to tight tolerances won't jam

Most AR's that are well maintained will not jam. But accidents do happen. The arguments between a bolt-action and semi-auto are pretty much the same for revolvers and semi-auto pistols. Pros and cons to either or. I don't think we really need to get into all that in a joke thread though lol!

I didn't know they still made moon pies.

Not sure I've ever had a banana one.

Moon Pies were created in 1917, precursor to Twinkies

Your rolling paper to tobacco ratio is off..

I roll my own, without a machine ,out of a 5 ounce tin I get roughly 1 carton of cigs,200

My parents use the machine, with the tubes they take a bit more tobacco per cig.(I find them too tight) they get about 175 cigs.

You need like 6-7 cartons of tube papers for 2lbs of tobacco....

I always keep extra tins, filters(i buy them separate and hand roll it into the paper), and papers.
About a months worth on average.. .

Always good on the math, I love it !!!

A carton or case of OCBs is 50 packs of 32 papers each.
50 x 32 = 1600 / 20 = 80 / 10 = 8 cartons.

I'm sorry,
Do you hand roll? If so you need 200 papers per 5 ounces .

32 ounces =1300 papers-ish. I know I roll them glue backwards from time to time so I tend to take "spoilage" into account.

I got confused with the carton measurement ..here a carton of cigerettes is 200.

I always recommend bugging out only as a last resort, but that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t be prepared to bug out. With our current political situation, both at home and worldwide, there are any number of possible scenarios that could cause us to have to bug out.

If you live in an urban environment the need for you to have a well thought-out and prepared bug out bag is even more important. Everyone living within a city or a suburban environment is at an increased risk to experience political and civil unrest, riots and will likely feel the effects of a man made disaster before those in less populated areas.
