Detroit area?

Hey everyone.

Anyone in the Detroit/Windsor area know whats going on? Just watched Ospreys and Stallions zipping up the river. Low and fast. Very very strange to see them in the area. Might be training, but I have never seen these around here before.

Yes...Im in Dearborn. Its the FLEET WEEK...all the sailors and Marines-military are docked and in town.

PS I saw that too about 2-3 hours ago. And we just had an AirShow labor day weekend...all kinds of planes...

Maybe they just wanted to train for another war in a third world country.
Detroit pretty much resembles a third world country, so It could make sense.

We get something similar in Tampa every other year. An international training op takes over downtown. Sure is fun to watch!

I live a couple miles from Selfridge ANGB.
I just saw 2 Blackhawk helicopters come up from the south flying low.
Very rare sight for sure.

Heh, having lived in VA Beach and seeing the yearly SEAL reunion I can relate...its always an amazing sight to see what can be done first hand!

For two days, friends who live near Selfridge have had Ospreys flying overhead, heading toward the base.

My husband heard on the radio that they are coming from Florida to escape Irma.
