So..... I saw this first on my Facebook page, so I had to look it up to make sure it's real..... and here it is.

The title is curtesy of one of my sources... I must admit, however, I agree with it.

www.americasfreedomfighters.com...

www.metrotimes.com...

Apparently, They are organizing a nice little protest outside of the new arena in downtown Detroit. Given the demographic of the area, Kid Rock's Pro Right stance, and the expected attendees of this concert..... I'm going out on a limb and saying that I expect this to go just as well as the Carolina "protests". I do not see this ending well, for anybody, really.

Given that this is going to happening an hour down the road from me.... I'm debating going to it, just to watch and record from afar to see if anything escalates, and what level of craziness will be seen there.

How about it, ATS, do you guys see this going over nice and peacefully? Or do you se it going over like a lead balloon?

My guess: Regardless of what truly happens, it will be overly politicized by both sides who use it to demonize the other side.

WHAT?!

You mean the left will use it to show how crazy the right is, and the right will use it to show how crazy the left is, and it will be all over the news for several days?

That's just crazy talk. My political party is the best, and would never propagate or steer me in the wrong direction for political gain, or for purposes of further driving the racial divide within the country.

(end sarcasm)

Sounds like bull# - since when did AntiFA use facebook and Kid Rock is about as much of a facist as he is a talented musician.

OP don't suppose you have a screengrab of the alleged facebook page? Not meant as an attack on you, just the original page has been taken down (from what I see) and wondering if there are screengrabs to work out if this is fake or not. I'm AntiFA myself and under no denial that there are sadly someAntiFA who are bat# mental embarassments to the cause/know nothing about what it means/origins of the movement - but even with that said, trying to paint Kid Rock or his fans as facists is a level of stupid I'm struggling to believe and Metro Times source makes no mention of AntiFA being behind it.

Kid Rock and his supporters vs Antifa?
Good luck Antifa.....you are gonna need it.
I would expect to see a very heavy police presence there.
From what I have seen of Detroit Police Chief James Craig on TV, he will not be standing down.
He will be cracking down.

This part made me lol

I cannot imagine that the Detroit native, American badass will allow such trifling individuals to silence him with their first world, fictional victimhood designed to silence opposing viewpoints.

Protesting is an American fundamental right, a value to behold for generations to come, something other nations populace are culled for, protesting is not silencing

Although to be fair I wouldn't waste my time protesting Kid Rock. Being anywhere even remotely close enough to hear a single note played by Kid Rock is Hell on Earth

This is literally the first event at the brand-new Little Ceasars Arena. The cops are not going to let it get trashed. Antifa better bring a bunch of zip-lock bags, to carry their teeth home in.

I doubt anything will come of this. Kid's fans will probably be mostly "medicated".

I don't really know his personal political leanings, but I will say after having built his show 3 times now, he is one damn talented musician. He can play every instrument he brought with his tour, and not just play them, but play them well. The man is a musical monster regardless of whether you enjoy the style of music.

Sorry just had to put that out there...

Please...this isn't a high school football game.
Antifa is going to be gunning for trouble, like they always are and when they run into the crazy Kid Rock supporters outside the arena, it's not going to be pretty.
You know damn well Antifa are a violent mob of terrorists.

Hey, it's all good. And I don't know how to post pics on here, but if you go to the more sensational website, they post links to the main 2 individuals FB pages, and scrolling down you will see the event scheduled

Lol...exactly.
Chief Craig will have his troops out there cracking heads.
Racism in Detroit is not what it used to be.....hell they even voted a white mayor in.
The downtown area with the casinos and where the Lions and Red Wings play are as safe as the suburbs.
Can anything happen?...sure but it's pretty safe.
I have never been afraid to go down there for a game or go the one of the casinos.

Hopefully left wing extremists will be met with more violence than they can handle.
