Illegal entry into The United States is a Federal Crime. That's why ICE is a Federal Agency.

There's no such thing as illegal entry into a state, because we are United States, and have the right to travel freely within them.

There are both federal and state laws about illegal immigration.

www.ncsl.org...

The only solution for these people is if Congress can pass DREAM act that allows them a path to citizenship.

I never said that states don't have laws that address illegal immigration. But illegal entry is a federal crime. Presidents can, and have, pardoned undocumented immigrants.

No, immigration is subject to the Constitution which empowers Congress to legislate. It was the last President, prolific in exceeding his authority that set up this mess.

It's not a pardon. It's deferring on their date of deportation, giving them a chance to apply for US citizenship before that date.

They are referring to amnesty not DACA.

You have to understand that no one can apply for citizenship if they have a criminal record. Their criminal charges were pardoned, so that they could pursue a path to citizenship.

Then they have to go to Mexico and apply for US citizenship from there.

You have to be in the US (with a green card) for 5 years before even applying for citizenship.

People really don't have any idea how it works.

? What's his "agenda" exactly ?

As plain as the point on your head: erase everything he possibly can that is in any way attached to Obama and replace it with the Trump brand.

17th century technology seems like a good idea for today's immigration problems to you? I guess nobody will call you a "progressive"!

Absolutely it will. It'll diminish the Democrat voter base for one. For the other, it'll send a clear sign that being illegal is exactly that, illegal.

I don't understand why people have a problem with this. Obama enacted DACA on his own, after having his amnesty bills shot down. Trump is doing the right thing and reversing it.
