Protecting the cotizens from the kids who were raised here since early childhood?!?!

So I don't know what he is protecting us from..

I am specifically talking about the dreamer bill.

I don't think he catches much long term crap for non dreamers.. right or wrong..

But all the people who every person they have ever known was an American...

That is guarenteed to show up in our daily lives..

Videos of nerdy teenagers carted off in paddy wagons crying without any hint of an accent will repeatedly go viral..

10's of millions of Americans will watch a close personal friend carted off..

Gnashing of teeth - check

Wailing - check

Rending of garments - check

What else do I need to do? I know I'm missing something.

Ahhh, throw myself infront of the deportation busses. Got it!

You guys save me a space, ok? I'll be there, I swear.

If every stage of the Courts ruled against DAFA, odds are, using that as a precedent, DACA would be found Unconstitutional if the State AG took it to the Courts.

Would you rather we go down that route? Who actually makes and passes Laws in our form of Government Phage? What would be your basis for DACA being Constitutional?

Yea. No question. It's all about 'law and order' with Trump. He's a stone-cold stickler when it comes to following the laws.

How many of these dreamers have started the legal path to citizenship? If they have started the process let them complet it, if they have not done anything then see you later, should have gotten busy guess you weren't that interested in staying.

I'm pretty sure the whole point is that trump undid the path to citezen ship they were on...

Now congress has to act to reinstate it.

Even if they are 12 yests old right now??

You know how easy it is for a 12 year old to file immigration records..

Lol

For a great many of these people, this is the only country, the only home they have ever known. They had no say in the decision to come here. So now what do they get sent back to? A country and culture with which they have no connection? Where do they live? What about their current jobs, educational pursuits? What if MY ancestral culture --- Native Americans --- found a legal means to kick you out of this country and send you back to your ancestral country of origin, what would you do?

BWAHAHAHA!!!

Yea because the democrats would be willing to risk it all by cheating in a state that they have OWNED for decades...

They didn't decide to cheat in Ohio or some state that might actually help them...

NOOOO

They did it in California.. a state that has bled blue forever...

And part 2 to this conspiracy that is just as laughable... that they cheated so hillary won the popular vote...

What benefit does that actually give you??

None... a BS taking point that has absolutely zero tangible value....

I have no idea how 25% of the country buys this TOTALLY illogical garbage..

Before you buy a conspiracy theory you should ask yourself. Can my community colllege educated @$$ think of a cheaper, easier and less risky way to achieve the same goal..

If you can easily think of one, then the illuminati should have been able to think of one too..

People don't take risks without rewards...

I think for most people against DACA, its not about whether immigrant children are good/bad people. For some the mindset is 'rules are rules' and believe that the good people are every bit as deserving of punishment and oppressive situations as bad people. I would imagine because it makes it easier to stomach hurting people if you feel its for a righteous (law driven) cause.

I am a great believer in the rule-of-law.

This action, on the part of President Trump, is hurtful to THOUSANDS of Americans both the Dreamers and their families.

Needlessly hurtful. Nothing will be achieved by this. Nothing except mindless pandering to his "base."

Those of you who support this should be aware that you're not only losing something fundamental to what it means to be an American ... you're losing your humanity.

In the end, that will cause pain to many of us ... but it will destroy you.

There are multiple sides to take on this, with varying viewpoints... So here's mine:

This was never an issue until Obama signed an executive order a couple years ago (circumventing our nation's laws and constitution, his favorite thing to do)

People have had plenty of time over the last several years to, at the very least, begin the process of becoming a United States citizen.

Even with said people "knowing only this country and doing nothing wrong", there are several issues at hand, and some points that are getting overlooked:

A) They ARE doing something wrong..... They are here illegally. Beat the "immigrants make this country great" drum all you want, it's still illegal immigration.

B) There is blame for the parents, yes. 100%. Guess what else? The people SIGNED UP WITH DACA. Do you know what that implies? That the children KNEW they were here illegally, and chose not to go about seeking legitimate citizenship, chose not to go back home and start from there, etc. They knowingly stayed here illegally, and simply registered themselves in hopes that it would never come back to bite them in the behind.

C) This whole program was a slap in the face to every immigrant that has come to the United States and gained citizenship the legal way

This could do a few things.... It could force congress to actually...... Do something productive for the first time in a while, and revamp our immigration laws... That's what I'm hoping for, at least.

My understanding of how legal Immigration works for those here illegally is that they have to leave the country and wait a period, 3 years at least, before crossing back in legally at a border entrance. That's the issue for Illegals here....they can't "get right with the law" unless they leave for a long period. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, not really my area of focus.

You do realize DACA was NOT a law and in fact was a way to supercede the existing Immigration laws, right? Mr. Rule of Law, lol

Chuck Schumer said this morning that he's willing to derail the entire legislative agenda to get the DACA immigrants made legal permanently.

thehill.com...

The man has no ideas, and is willing to hurt every citizen in America over his fixations. Another "gift" for Republicans.

p.s. As dysfunctional as Republicans are this year, his strategy might work.

If your an illegal than how the hell are you innocent . Name me one good things that illegals do for our country

Right, it's basic. We are all born into sin. Nobody is innocent. But, blaming those that did not commit a crime is, well, folly.

Which is why we need comprehensive immigration reform.

So, you think that if illegal immigrants survive long enough, their amnesty should be incorporated into immigration law? I think migration issues, and their impetus, should be evaluated as "special circumstance" from time to time.

Our courts dispense (blind) justice, our executive branch has the right and the duty to dispense mercy.

Which is why blaming Trump is foolish. The blame lies on the parents.
