So why don't you Google the "government slaves" website and explain to me why it doesn't come up in a search.

What you should be preaching about my friend is the government surveillance system. I find it hard to believe you'd be incredulous that Google is censoring sights.

It's been all over the news for months.

Jesus, what are you doing on a conspiracy site?

I just did. I typed in the search bar "government slaves". It was the 6th link.

If you type in "government slaves site", it's the 1st one.

ETA: looks like I was mistaken. It's the .info site that comes up 6th and then 1st.

The .com site comes up 18th if you type in "government slaves" and 3rd if you type "government slaves site".

ETA2: The above was done on my phone.

I just typed "government slaves" in Google on my laptop. The .info site is the 1st result and the .com is the 2nd result. The 3rd result is a twitter account for them.

Image added to prove it. Removed taskbar though as I'm currently working and don't want to give away where.

Still confused as to why you'd be surprised by censorship in the US.

Where have you been?

Or do you like the idea of a tolitarian government?

Ugh. Don't answer that.

It's Google, a company. Google is not the government.

You, as a consumer have choices and options. You are not required to use Google, and plenty of alternatives exist.

It's not my fault, the "gubmint", Google or anyone else's fault YOU don't seek alternatives to products and services.

I don't shop at Walmart. I just don't. I don't like their practices and they aren't getting my money. I don't want to be complicit in supporting them.

It seems the "free market" is great until companies decide to exercise their free market power, dropping sponsors, customers, or even websites they think will impact their profit margin.

Would you support the government mandating and forcing Google to run their search engine a certain way?

It sure seems based on your posts that you would indeed support Google being forced to conduct its business in certain ways.

That's not freedom, either.

I just used a proxy to use google.com

The .info is the 1st result on the 3rd page.

The .com is the 6th result on the 3rd page.

Their twitter page is the 2nd result on the 1st page.

Kind of throws the idea that it's censored out the window.

It's baffling to me.

The biggest supporters of capitalism, free markets and free speech....

...are the ones who have the worst understanding of it.

Google and the government are tied in big time. Everybody knows this.

I'm confused as to why you are arguing that we don't have a surviellence state in our country, and that Google isnt part of the problem.

So is Facebook.

This is all common knowledge.

And that has nothing to do with you saying google was censoring "government slaves" and me proving you were wrong.

I guess when you get caught out you just have to move the goalposts.
