I was thinking the same thing side effect wise lol.

But then common sense steps in and tells me " well obviously they'll take precaution upon precaution that the catalyst to 'engage' these bots is highly complicated and only available during treatment."

But then doom porn brain steps in and says "well yeah, no crap. But eventually some pissed off smart guy will crack the code and be able to murder, silently with the aid of a sci-fi flashlight."

Shut up brain!! Where are my pills??

I would do a trial for this in a heart beat.

Something to consider for conspiracy theorists... "the elite" don't want population control and they want manageability for disease because we are consumers. There's your conspiracy.

the weird part is that , these nano machines could already be inside every human on the planet and there is no way we can tell !

the what ifs would be enough to drive you mad if you were paranoid enough

I hope that our species is smart enough and can remain in the bounds of ethics when using these creations

That's just it. What weapon of war invented has never been used? Gas? Atomic bombs? If they can get away with it they will use it. Those in power don't give 2 #ts about any of us. If they found a way to control us or kill us on command especially if it was impossible to detect I am POSITIVE they would employ it.

I do have a minor concern. There are many ways to kill cancer, but the left-overs of dead cancer cells will flood the body with toxins, which can kill the body. These nanomachines need to be very specific in what cells they target, and must kill at a "slow enough" rate that the kidneys and liver aren't overwhelmed... or that the other organs aren't flooded with chemicals that deteriorate them.

I had a professor, long ago, who said he could kill brain cancer, but you'd need an immediate liver transplant, at a minimum. Cancer therapies are very destructive to "secondary targets".

But, overall, I think this method could be a great approach.

I'm feeling a bit itchy.

This will sum up the truth about cancer. My mother-in-law got ovarian cancer some 15yrs ago, stage 4. It had about a 5%-5yr survival rate at the time. Her Dr was known as a great Dr and had success in many cases. Well, he cured her, shes still alive today. But not long after he cured her, he was fired. My wife asked my how in the world could HE get fired. I told her my guess was he was using unorthodox methods. She looked and looked online for him, and found an article a few years later. The article was about him using unorthodox, controversial and very painful methods against cancer. Cancer is more about money (using 'legal' poisons) than about curing anyone. Sad, but true.
