Day drinkers...
Seriously though, I'm thinking it was some drunk trying to get to that mini-mart and was pissed about the roads being closed so decided to try a shortcut.
Because if that was an attempt to get at the president, dude didn't put much planning into it.

I'd love to see a google map of that area and see if it were actually a road there? I would not imagine so??? Hahahahah. Defo something amiss with this.

According to Google Maps, it is an industrial area.....no booze stores in sight.
Lisa Cox, a spokeswoman for the Springfield Police Department, said the only incident that caused major concern occurred when a vehicle crashed into Kearney Street while the president’s motorcade was nearby—but that turned out to be unrelated to the president’s visit, and no one was hurt, Cox said.

"Cloverleaf Auto Repair, 2335 E Kearney St, Springfield, MO 65803"
Try that in the map search. It looks the same.
