No, I just don't have to argue anymore because the point has been made.

You said I should speak to people who lived under socialism and I have and some disagree with you. Now what?

Which is also false.

Take a look at congress. Plenty of obstacles here.

In fact in Germany I could drive a truck and still have enough free time to learn the oboe, and tie fishing flies.

So fail

I'm not sure what you're "droning on" about. Is there a point to your madness?

Individualism.

From what I see capitalism makes plenty of mindless drones since free time for personal individual development is limited. Especially with family duty on top.

Sorry I guess I have to spell it all out for you.

There is not now, nor has there ever been a "pure" economy.

Capitalism, socialism, communism ... these are abstract philosophical concepts only. Ideals.

There has never been a "free market" nor "true socialist" economy on any national scale.

But you mentioned Germany, which is a largely capitalist country. In case you haven't noticed, east Germany fell with the Berlin wall.

No kidding and when they occurred by forceful dictatorships they failed quickly.

That's a lie. I never mentioned anything like that. In fact I enjoy universal healthcare, though I wish I had the freedom to refuse it.

Right and I already mentioned the only comparable nations with the use of socialist ideas are in Europe.

The us is not going to become North Korea.

Your being hysterical

Yes, all of them failed. It turns out the people didn't want what socialism was offering.

The cracks in your reality are getting bigger. That is utterly false.

So basically your having a conversation off base from everybody else.

There isn't a single person who wants socialism as a pure form other than radical nuts.

Your entire conversation is irrelevant.

I never said they were great or that people wanted what they were offering. I specifically called out your claim

where everything about them is stripped of individuality

I enjoy the ad hom but your ranting about authoritarian socialism had no bearing in the op's dialogue.

It was about people wanting free stuff and equating that to socialism.

As I already said, socialism is the opposite of individualism.

So? I wasn't aware that you were the resident hall monitor.

I don't see any capitalists offering free tuition, free healthcare, and the like.

And again your mis leading with the remark

Capitalism does not lead to individualism accept with financial responsibility.

Hence everyone buying the same clothes, using the same phones l, loving Taylor Swift.

Your basic concepts are utterly false in practice.
