Arguments from ignorance all around.

When did you live in a socialist society where everything about you was stripped of individuality?

I've never lived in a socialist country, but you can easily ask anyone who has. I've been to North Korea, China, and Cuba, however. You should see the conditions in those places.

Whats the brick and mortar of a purely capitalist society then? Robots?

I can't say whether there is any. No one builds the more capitalist societies according to some intellectual's plans.

I have spoken with people who have and none of them said that everything about them was stripped of individuality.

Conditions in many capitalist 3rd world countries are not that great either. That doesn't make your point.

Then wtf are you talking about, your the person with misguided concepts and regularly claim Europeans have it so bad.

So in your mind we skip right past Europe worker protections and such and go strait to mao?

Your just being dramatic. You can socialize certain aspects of society and not be socialist.

Let me guess it's a slippery slope, yet a for profit medical system that produces half it's products as fraud is much better?

Do you always speak in questions, or is that just the result of your upper inflections?

I was speaking about socialist countries, you're not.

None of those countries are socialist.

It is what those people asking for socialism want and not the boogieman you defaulted to.

No you were doing the typical boogie man routine here you always do.

There are no actual socialist countries. There are authoritarian dictatorships, fadcism, and socialist policy that you call socialist nations.

Individualism is the advocacy of the interests of individual over the state or social groups. That's the opposite of socialism.

Capitalism is about the ability to own what you produce EI private property rights.

You have private property rights under socialism as well. You are one of these people what whine about socialism because you don't know there is a difference between socialism and communism.

The government taxing you and taking your property to give it to someone else, or taxing you and taking the profit from what you produce is actually anti-American and it goes against the ideas of freedom.

Guess the founders forgot that when they taxed incoming ships to pay for medical expenses for sailors that were hurt at sea.

None of that is going to matter when automation forces Universal Basic Incomes worldwide.

Anyone who thinks that automation isn't going to decimate the worlds workforces down to fractions of what it is today is sorely mistaken.

Boogie man routine? It's a point of fact that millions and millions were lost in trying to implement socialism. If that's too dramatic for you, you might need to get outside more.

North Korea and the former USSR is as close to your socialism as you're going to get.

Socialism and communism are different.

Also why do you complain about how bad Europe is with its socialism on a regular basis. Do you think they are headed toward the old ussr model?

The same could be said of serving god and country but neither equates to "everything about you was stripped of individuality".

That propaganda is so 20th century.

Actually the propaganda of the 20th century was, by and large, pro-socialist. Look how well that worked out. It wasn't until only a few decades ago that the facts of the horrors of socialism became available.
