Drone Footage of Hurricane Harvey Devastation

Its times like this when I'm so very glad I don't live in the USA and have never had to experience a hurricane and its terrible devastation
This is a link to drone footage showing just horrendous damage that I just can't imagine people recovering from. To me as an outsider this seems on a par with Katrina. I've never seen such severe flooding in person and hope I never do.



I really really hope everyone is safe and puts all this latest silliness behind them to come together as a community to help everyone recover and rebuild although I imagine this is going to take a long long time. Wouldn't it be nice if all the protesters could actually achieve some good and help people for a change, something that actually matters?

The US hasn't even recovered from Katrina...and this is worse, much worse!!

Much of Houston will be uninhabitable just like New Orleans. The chemical plants and oil refineries have spilled toxic material of unprecedented proportions.

Texans helping other Texans whenever they need to.

Is it bad yes. Is it the end of city - hell no! Everyone needs to stop with the unnecessary doom and the politicization of this. What kind of people do that in the face of this kind of tragedy. Just

I haven't seen anything about toxic spills etc...where is this being said?

Meteorologists are saying that what makes this particularly bad is the fact that the rain is sweeping back and forth throughout Houston and nearby areas, pouring more rain into already flooded areas and that people should be aware tht this is only the START of flooding.

In some areas there were reports of up to 50" of rain!! in just hours
