The melody of the U.S. National Anthem is an old English Beer Drinking Song.

The anthem HAS to be changed. Otherwise it could be highly offensive to teetotalers.

Teetotalers offend me. I can think of one in particular that I would like immediately banned.

The Anthem is fine. I never hear it.

I do think it's a little outdated. We could add some drums and electric guitar would be nice.

Oh, c'mon, the way the ban brigade is heading, we should just admit this is what it will end up being.

This song makes me tear up every time I hear it. It's relevant, beautiful, and if every person in the US would get behind it's message non of the sh** happening now would be. Ever since the first time I heard it, I've felt it should be the national anthem, not some re-do of the British "God Save the Queen". We took America from them after all
