The same people who did the live stream for the protests... Decent coverage from those trying to ride the storm out.

Lets hope those who stayed are safe. Some of these streams are from first respondents, so please dont jump on the folks streaming.

I don't think anyone was expecting Harvey to jumping to a Category 4 hurricane at the last moment. If that had been predicted much earlier, I wonder if more people would have heeded the warning to evacuate.

Hope all of those trapped in the path of this monstrosity remain safe.

There is a rumor that the Omni Hotel in Corpus Christi lost their roof, most of CC lost power.
Corpus was on the weak side of the storm.
Hope it weakens a lot more before it reaches Houston.

The Weather Channel

Stay safe everyone. The forecasts were off for Harvey. A Cat 4 was not expected and many didn't evacuate. People will need rescued and i fear there will be some significant loss of life and property. The flooding will go on for days. Terrible and devastating for that area.

Lots of mobile homes in Texas, hope people moved to concrete structures with four walls.

In the midst of a hectic day and busy busy schedule, I made time to come on and check on old friends who were and still are regular posters here. Is there another thread on Harvey somewhere I missed or is this it? Has ATS slunk to such a despondent level that HUGE news like this is Trumped by politics? Really?

Please tell me it is not so...

God bless and keep all of the abandoned pets, wildlife and the innocents who for some reason did not make it out. As for those who stayed of their own accord, may the Lord shield them and hold them close tonight and through the coming days.

Damage reports coming in. Rockport has building collapses with trapped people. The studio that they're reporting from has tiles popping and coming down from the change in pressure. They are in Corpus Christi.

A big smile on my face and a deep sentimental sigh to see you too my dear friend. Came back in just to see what you posted. This is such an important topic, I did notice more threads coming out on main page I missed earlier. K so sleepy but must read a bit more and send my energy to those in the storm's path.

Love and hugs to you
