I see you decided to skip over my post and not reply...any reason in particular or you just didn't have any rebuttal? As I said before no one is stopping the press from blasting their spin, he is instead blasting them for it...which is not against anything but your opinions. No one is saying people can't counter protest peacefully...the counter protest group is,saying you can't protest if you don't protest for what we agree with though...and they're willing to stop it with violence if they fail to stop it some other way...which is not exactly legal or in accordance with the 1st amendment you seem to hold so,dear.

Your reply wasn't very interesting...

But I'll reply to this one.

Are you suggesting only the counter protesters acted violently? Did you not see the clubs, shields, and guns that Unite The Right was toting around? Did you miss the part where a member of Unite The Right used his car to injury many and kill one?

That is what is amazing to me...one side actually killed someone...and you and other Righties cry about the side that didn't kill anyone. You said something about mental gymnastics earlier???

Oh...and about that 1st amendment...US citizens can't violate it. It is a declaration of what the GOVERNMENT can and can't do. And since Trump is the head of the GOVERNMENT...it seems like you would have more of a problem with him messing with it instead of fellow US citizens.

But then again, that would assume you are well informed and not just a parrot of talking points.

My mind is like the ocean tides. It can change by the hour because I think with logic versus emotional BS. I guess that's something you just can't grasp is it?

Ummmmm....that's not how logic works.

Logic will lead you to the truth...the truth doesn't change by the hour.

I think you use emotion more than you think, and are lying to yourself about logic.

I think you created a thread, to just piss people off! As just looking at your 1 or 2 sentences in reply to those who put some actual thought in their logically thought out replies to you!

Keep on posing brah!

Don't get me wrong, I know all too well that the media is neither left nor right: it's corporate.

However, to my original point: Trump says things that are routinely proven false by the media.

-- The photos of his inauguration completely contradicted his assertions. Did I take that out of context?
-- All of the reasearch to date, including testimony from Republican officials, suggests there were NOT 3 to 5 million fraudulent votes. Did I take that out of context?
-- Trump Jr. did attend a meeting where he thought he'd be obtaining dirt on big daddy's opponent. Did I take that out of context?

Those are facts that the media did bring to light, and just because those facts contradict Trump's lies, doesn't necessarily make the media hostile.

They are hostile by their own admission. Many journalists admitted to eschewing ethics in favour of opposing Trump. That what makes them hostile.

Take this analysis for example:

The Lies of Donald Trump's Critics

Have you fallen for any of this?

I went to snopes to see all of THOSE LIES from...."media journalists"
hmm.....looked on down the rest of the snopes page and surprise!!!....no "media journalists" telling lies........tweets by unknown people, macron (the leader of France) tweeting
Stephen Colbert supposely getting sued by trump. scopes said this was a website called "last line of defence"....that turned out to be a humor site, with a disclaimer on the bottom of the page to NOT TAKE IT SERIOUSLY!!
after that I left....

good ole' snopes, fanning the flame of hate

Those one or two replies are questions that never seem to get answered by those I'm replying to.

It's much easier to see what someone is really thinking by asking questions and listening rather than trying to argue and convince them.

Most of the time, like you did, you answer yourself into a corner, contradict yourself, or fail to be able to provide any type of solid evidence that your "well thought out logical" reply claimed.

In short, it's easy to let others realize for themselves that they are full of bull than trying to tell them directly. I ask the questions...you guys realize you have no answers.

I'm not kidding myself, I know it won't really change any minds...but it is interesting to see the transition from self confidence "Oh, I got this I'm going to prove him wrong" to angry "you are just a troll" when you fail to be able to back up your own claims.

There...I think that was more than one sentence.

dailycaller.com...

On “Good Morning America,” ABC News reporter Cecilia Vega claimed that Trump’s attack on the media “was incitement, plain and simple,” adding that “it really feels like a matter of time before someone gets hurt.”

People have already been hurt.

www.npr.org...

No mention of who shot him or why......
I guess the facts are too much to ask these days
But hey "attack" the press and this kind of thread happens

I did and have said that anyone who acts in violence which was not directly considered self defense should go to jail...in fact I said anyone showing up with weapons of any kind should have been held 48hrs with no charge then released after the event was over.

Actually the 1st amendment guarantees all citizens the right to voice their opinions regardless of the opinions likeability...I only saw one side intent on shutting down the other side...well I guess there was the events of Friday and I guess if what I heard is true both sides are guilty of trying to silence the other...and that makes em both wrong and neither should get any support or favorable treatment.

I am neither, right nor left so before you try to label me into a side let me make clear I don't really like either side of the same coin we call our political system. The driver of that car needs to see his,day in court and be judged on his actions. Everyone has a right to a defense including the worst scum of the world.

You say my first post wasn't interesting however I think w hats more likely is that it ripped your OP to shreds and you didn't have a good rebuttal so,you ignored it to instead go after posters you felt it easier to play word games with, seeing as t hats all you've done on this thread so far.

Have a good one!

Shall I get out the dictionary for you???

I said he is attacking...not silencing.

You asked me for an example of Trump "silencing".

Words mean things...if the topic is too complex for you, please see yourself out.

LOL,
we seem to have a failure to communicate.

You said this:
"If anyone is attacking the 1st amendment and trying to take away rights, it is our current President by attacking the Free Press."

If you didn't say this, you have some problems, your account has been hacked. If you did say this, I asked for clarification on this exact statement.

Again, so you don't forget before you respond:
"If anyone is attacking the 1st amendment and trying to take away rights, it is our current President by attacking the Free Press."

how is the President "trying to take away 1st amendment rights" ?

If you deflect again, you will only be showing everyone how incredibly ignorant you truly are.

Ahahahahahahahahahah

You are the KING of EPIC FAILS!

You did get me though, I have to give you credit for that. I didn't remember the third option to my question.

Attack the press. This is funny. For the last 2 years our president has been called every name in book including some that I cannot believe made it on TV. When was the last time a reporter called a sitting president a scumbag?

Donald Trump can say whatever he wants, whenever he wants and to whoever he wants just like the press does to him. He has the same rights under the Constitution as they do. The complaints he does not act 'presidential' are hysterical. So, he does not kiss the ass of the press so he gets flack? Oh well. That has happened his entire career unless someone wanted something then they were kissing his ass...

It is allowed to go both ways and at NO time has our president 'stopped' the media or restricted the 1st amendment. Now, the last administration did,as well as as former POTUS and his wife. A sitting or past president 'telling' a news outlet what to write. To me, that is worse than restricting speech because you are dictating it. That is control but no one talks about it. They just want to say why does he say we lie....

use this thread as an example of media lies....

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Amazing the truth is pointed out and all the detractors leave but before the 'truth' is shown it is bash bash bash....

I would like to see ONE true example of Trump restricting the press. Just one.

and they do lie...How abouyt Don Lemon?

Trump had spent a portion of his hour-and-a-half-long speech hammering the media for misinterpreting remarks he made, in which he condemned the neo-Nazis and white nationalist protesters that caused violence in Charlottesville, Virginia earlier this month.

Later in his CNN broadcast Tuesday, Lemon, without offering evidence, said Trump “is clearly trying to ignite a civil war in this country.” “He hasn’t really said anything that denounced the alt-right. He talked about the KKK and whatever. He hasn’t really done that. He is clearly trying to ignite a civil war in this country,” Lemon said. “He has not tamped down race. And I’m just going to say, if he was on my team, in this newsroom, and said those things, he would be escorted out of the building by security.”

You see, the ignorant and those who blindly follow simply listen to people like a CNN reporter and it is a complete lie what he is saying.

Actually the 1st amendment guarantees all citizens the right to voice their opinions regardless of the opinions likeability

Time for a refresher:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Emphasis are mine for your benefit.

I'll let you figure the rest out...learning is good.

You say my first post wasn't interesting however I think w hats more likely is that it ripped your OP to shreds

Your first post was a whole lot of right wing talking points...but sure, you aren't right or left....nice faux shield. Don't worry, you aren't alone...lots of people try that little game...they think if they claim not to be on either side that their opinions are more relevant. But it's so easy to see through that because being a shill has been a common practice for a long time.

But if it makes you feel better to think you ripped my OP to shreds, more power to you.

Now go study the 1st amendment.

Yes folks, calling out fake news stories means you hate the 1st amendment and want all the press put in intern camps.

Because you can't possibly be for free speech and against false malicious news stories.
