I remember when Obama did a few things and the right had to be extra nice or be called names and trampled in the media, plus undergo the violent reaction from the left. Now the right must be extra nice again even though they have taken over every political power center or the left will be violent and react angrily and call names again.... So... Well at least he is stopping to pay his respects and spend time with people he likely may be sending to fight in our place. I think true Trump supporters. if they knew, would not be bothered that he was late for that reason. At least he respects the work these brave mean and women do in our stead. Unlike many other politicians.

I guess the president thinks he needs to speak to the public directly to avoid the media from twisting his words, or worse, not covering the actual issues since they are obsessed over his latest tweet so they can make a meme to spread.

Nothing says a president must talk to the people via the media. Many past president did the same thing via train tours during their presidency. Face-to-face presence is a powerful message....and much more difficult to have your message twisted to sway your supporters that are actively being accused of being Nazi's.

So Trump is late and there is no stream available to the goings on outside?
