Great thread. It's odd that the majority of arrests were made after the whole Free Speech rally was already over. I'm really glad that i'm not in the U.S. right now. I'm planning to completely shave my head to show solidarity with my mother who is currently going through a rough time because of chemo. I swear if someone dares to look at her funny or drops any negative comment at all i'm going berserk on there asses.

I hope you don't mind when i leave this video here. It captures the mood really well.

Look at the violence committed against the guy filming. Hundreds sorrounding him screaming, showing him and pushing hi, forcing him out of the area.

And then is seen as no big deal by many on here.

Uh oh, look who's been triggered by facts again.

OP, get ready for another thread jacking.

LOL ... the only one that appears triggered here is you, Pearly.

Do you need a tissue?

LOL ...

The "brainwashed masses" of right-wingers are crying about crying and whining about whining.

Must be a Monday.

I find the callousness of you and others on here that feel that calling out this violence is very disturbing.

Especially when you admitted on the other thread that you hadn't watched the video.

You mean around 4:35 when the "photographer" finally ramps up the crowd enough to evoke a response?

And then at 5:45 when he's escorted away by police?

Hmmm ... if he's just an "innocent" rally attendee, why did he locate himself in the middle of the crowd of protesters again?

Please.

I find that the blatant connivance to portray these incidents that are fairly obviously staged by "independent press" instigators as episodes of violence disturbing ... I find your need and the need of others here to continually equate the two "sides" as equally violent absurd.

I haven't watched 7 hours in the last two? Nope.

Point out some of the time stamps you want us to review. Don't be ridiculous.

You're doing anything you can do here to create FALSE EQUIVALENCE ... and when some of us don't buy it, you want to portray us as "supporting violence."

You're lying when you're doing that Grambler ... and you KNOW IT.

Why did the UVA students at Charlottesville surround the statue that they knew the removal was being protested with a vice camera crew and weapons like pepper spray if they were just innocent?

See I didn't make repugnant arguments like that, but had I you and others would have rightly called me out for victim shaming.

But here, you and many have no problem downplaying this violence.

I think you are part of the problem.

Excusing the behavior of many opf the violent people in this mob because you think they were trolled.

You are correct. I am not part of the solution so, I am part of the problem.

That doesn't change the fact that so are you. At least I can own up to it.

Absolutely absurd.

I defended the left when scalise got shot. Were you on here saying "Listen guys the left is way worse, don't even bring up other incidents now because this guy trying to shoot republicans for political reasons is worse than anything"

Nope, you weren't.

Your false equivalency argument is terrible.

I was willing to call out both sides at charlottesville.

You make excuses for this violence in Boston.

Hmmmm ... because they knew they were very likely going to be attacked by Nazis and White Supremacists?

You've made a host of repugnant arguments beginning with the idea that you can soothsay thorugh videos that are very obviously staged by agitators that all 40K attendees were "violent leftists" ... you have ZERO moral basis.

No, I'm not "downplaying violence" ... stop lying. You're DESPERATE to see violence were none exists.

People get shoved around in crowds, particularly ones that are TRYING to enflame people.

And you want to equate this with the terrorist actions in Charlottesville.... don't even start talking about REPREHENSIBLE behavior to me.

Watch these stamps for violence.

1:42:00 - intensity steps up against lone trump supporter. People pushing him screaming telling him to get out as he is utterly surrounded. (remember Friday at Charlottesville, surrounding someone is violence.)

1:42:00 - intensity steps up against lone trump supporter. People pushing him screaming telling him to get out as he is utterly surrounded. (remember Friday at Charlottesville, surrounding someone is violence.)

1:43:15 - camera man admits massive crowd is pushing (violence) trump supporter out. This is not a nazi, just a trump supporter. Why would all of these good people allow this to happen if they didn't agree with it?

1:44:00 - veterans group screaming no violence as Trump guy surrounded screamed at and pushed out.

1:45:40 - two or three trump supporters (one wearing an isreali flag) pushed out by group of hundreds of protestors.

1:52:43 - streaming says "this crowd is definitly looking for a kill." He says it would have been bad if a group of verteans hadn't circled the trump supporter and protected him. Again, we are not talking about 1 or two screaming. We are talking about hundreds sorrounding two trump supporters calling them nazis (one wearing an isreali flag) attacking them and pushing them out, while hundreds more watched and cheered. But this is love conquering hate I guess.

Imagine if the cops and vets had not been their like at Charlottesville, imagine what would have happend here.

2:30:00 - Trump supporter surrounded by hundreds of people screaming at him. Crowwds screaming be afraid everyone hates you, get him out.

2:55:10 - Crowd angerly screaming nazi at someone. camera man admits protestors stopped many people from attending the rally (mob stopping people from free speech)

3:19:30 - they surround a Trump supporter again screaming at him.

3:19:40 - man comes right up to trump supporter and spits in his face. Trump supporting pleading to take it easy because there are women there. Hundreds surrounding him shoving and screaming. They are right up on him (remember surrounding people is violence)

Shouting go home, shame and other vile things I wont type here.

Don't know if this is it, but it was later reported that the people trying to leave the rally were surrounded and had to be rescued by police.

Watch this ten minutes and remember, this is love beating hate.

4:15:30 - hundreds or maybe even thousands chant to remove rally goer as they push him out. Scream get the f out, whose streets our streets.

Love beating hate again.

5:08:30 Black Trump supporters is surrounded and attacked. Police must escort him out. He argues back agressively on his way out. Several protestors call this black man a "white supremacist"

5:23:40 - crowd yelling at police. Cameraman asks why the police took guy, guy on street says he hit the "nazi" with a sign (trump supporter I assume seeing as how I saw no nazi gear anywhere there) anotherguy says it was a punch.

You "defended the left" ... yes, I've seen your "defenses of the left" ... always half-hearted and back-handed.

Right, you're calling out "both sides" when only one side invaded a small town and tried to intimidate the residents.

It's utterly DISGUSTING.

Yes you side is always doing the right thing, when the right wants to gather that is "inflaming" others.

Disgraceful.

How many were there?

Was it 40,000?

Oh wait, thats how many came to protest free speech. But no big deal, right?

And no big deal if many of them used violence and intimidation to shut up the few people on the other side.

I listened to a radio call in show with an ANTIFA organizer, this morning, and one liberal after another called in to say that they denounce ANTIFA's violent tactics and stated that ANTIFA is a liability to the left. Some of them sounded pretty passionate about that and a couple even mentioned how they care about free speech and nonviolence above all else...to paraphrase.

I wish I knew what show I was listening to, but I wasn't really paying attention to that part of it.

Made me feel a lot better though.

Well, number one I'm not "on a side" as I've told you dozens of times. The funny thing is you claim not to be either.

Number two you will NEVER find a single quote from me in which I've said that "the left is blameless."

You, sir, are getting DESPERATE and DESPICABLE in these posts.

Some people don't want to see it.

They want to lie and claim innconects, or make excuses for the violence, which ironically is what they claimed the other side of doing in charlotteville.

When Trump said "Both sides committed violence" in charlotteville, that was him defending nazis.

But here we see people making fun of the violence here, or saying it was inflamed and therefore somehow justified.

It is disturbing.
