I'm okay with free speech, even from the most extreme/radical of people, but what I'm not okay with is the destruction of property, the riots they try to start, and the violence they continually bring to peaceful protests. When your a group that's targeting to hurt people who don't identify with your politics, then in my eyes, you should be labeled as a terrorist org.

still, if you see an antifa - you should exercise your right as a US citizen and invoke the patriot act and detain them for a minimum of 48hrs without charge, and torture them mentally and physically.

Talks about arresting without charge and torturing people because of their politics, yet calls the other side "terrorists"..

And isn't even an American..

Another example of Antifa just shouting down people just for wanting to have a serious dialogue. All they do is scream and instigate violence. The coward with the mask tried to start some # but the guy with the camera kept his cool. Peaceful protesters should never mingle with them. Finally the cops interfered after it got physical and they arrested imo the wrong guy.

not really, a petition falls within the redress of grievances part of the constitution so if enough people sign it then the president has to do something, even if the white house created the petition at first it would still indicate an actual problem that people want addressed.

this petition is a measuring stick and is more serious than people realize and could have real consequences.

i think this whole situation is a trap that made use of the media, liberal colleges, the democratic party and the tactics they have been using to spread social liberalism through outrage and triggered emotional responses. they are being lured into pushing their usual agenda harder than usual to push people past their limits, to make them behave in an uncontrolled manner that intimidates people of a more conservative nature, to make them take action in a hidden quiet manner that doesn't make the headlines but which will result in a crackdown on liberalism.

most people tend to forget how many times the government has cracked down on or subverted social liberalism in the past 200 years, this isn't the first time this situation with the same motivation has happened.

Hey friends,

Antifa is listed as a leftwing extreme movement in the Netherlands, this means that our IA monitors them due to potential danger which they pose on our society.
If one ever wanted to know what fascism truly is, simply look at antifa, that is pure fascism.
They who claim to fight against it are simply to stupid to recognize it, hell, we know where the money comes from.

Of course Soros likes the stupid and indifferent people.

I rarely sign any petitions, because I think they are as worthless as protesting. However I signed this one!

How did I miss it? When will this declaration of antifa as a terrorist group occur officially?

The White House should start a petition to declare CNN an official terrorist organization. How many signatures do you think that puppy will garner?

It is impossible to name something a terrorist organisation that is not an organisation...

The We the People program requires a certain amount of signatures. If the petition falls short nothing happens. If the petition makes the signature requirement it requires an official response from the White House. An official response means just that - a response. It does NOT require the White House to take action on a petition.

We the People Petitions - White House

The White House Reviews and Responds

Once the petition reaches the required threshold, it will be put in a queue to be reviewed by the White House. Others can still sign the petition while it is awaiting a response. When the White House responds, everyone who has signed the petition will get email from the White House to let you know that we’ve reviewed and responded to the petition.

The White House will respond to petitions submitted through We the People that comply with these Terms of Participation and reach the second signature threshold listed below. Petitions on We the People must meet the first signature threshold in order to be publicly searchable on WhiteHouse.gov. Petitions that do not meet these signature thresholds will be removed from the site after the time limit has expired. The White House may elect to respond to petitions at any time, including those that have not crossed the first or second threshold.

To avoid the appearance of improper influence, the White House may decline to address certain procurement, law enforcement, adjudicatory, or similar matters properly within the jurisdiction of federal departments or agencies, federal courts, or state and local government in its response to a petition. Where possible, we will notify signers of petitions whose content falls into these areas, in instances in which we don't feel we will be able to respond meaningfully.

Participation in the We the People platform does not create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person.

The White House is not required to act on petitions.

Antifa is that "freedom of speech", the C.O.T.U.S. was not ever,.. talking about. Like yelling "FIRE" in a crowded theater. Yelling about a "threat" where no threat exists. Where's "Saint Elmo's Fire" when you need it?

Kind of like a "thought"? A way of thinking? A belief? A set of standards? It is not as "impossible" as you seem to think. It has been happening under your "educated" nose...

Hopefully this, unlike most petitions, will actually lead somewhere.

Some arrests would be nice.

They were named the red coated fascists, fascism fighting against fascism, hmmmm.
Antifa is outright fascism, namely, fascism is the name for a political social extremist movement/group with reactionary and authoritary Principles, hence, violence is used to force their dominance up on others.
Such fascist groups display their superiority over other groups who obviously are deemed inferior to them, with violent attacks.

Nazis. But still, I wonder how that worked for them? If I recall the leftist violence actually helped the Nazis election campaign.

No, the Liberals complicity, hand wriggling, and attempted exploitation and political manipulation helped the Nazi party

Violence is a spook, a phantasm, "Violence" doesn't make you fascist, the ideology makes you a fascist, people who are anti-fascist are against the fascist ideology, thus anti-fascism.

Opposed to liberalism, Marxism, and anarchism, fascism is usually placed on the far-right within the traditional left–right spectrum.

Tell that to all store owners who saw their store being demolished and plundered by antifa, to the local people who saw their property demolished and their cars put on fire by antifa, to peacefull protesters who's voices were silenced by antifa with the use of violence.
In many big cities throughout Europe, the latest example of that is Hamburg Germany.

Antifa is simply fascism, the far right is also a great danger which luckely is fairly small, and mostly present in Eastern Europe.
Dont fall for the trap that fascism only belongs in the far right corner of the spectrum, it equally thrives well on the extreme left.
