Remember how people found that Emperor Snowflake had fake copies of himself being on the cover of Time magazine. Here's another one that was unearthed in 2015 at one of his golf courses at Sterling, Virginia. Below is the article from the New York Times that researched the historical accuracy of the plaque and low and behold........it was fake like everything else he does.

It's certainly typical of him to refer inquiries back to the underlings...it was them that dunn'it!

The intention of people who want to provide social benefits to people in need is not based on power politics. Anybody can accuse people who want to provide for the poor of cynical intent but you have no evidence

I am sorry I wasn't clear. On an individual level, Democratic party voters are metaphorical *slaves,* not *masters.* Whether they realize it or not.

I don't believe most voters, for either party, go to the polls thinking they are doing anything but voting for just causes & good reasons.

But on a leadership level? Well, just look at the Democratic party's history & their current power and contrast that to where black Americans are today. The evidence speaks for itself.

That would lead to you believing politicians are altruistic and have no agenda.

If you were drowning and someone came forth to rescue you would you ask their intention?

I don’t think so!

I would swim.

However your analogy is hardly apt.

Blaming democrats in the year 2017 for what democrats believed in 1860 makes little sense

I blame the current Democratic party leadership because I see them as slave owners that use tax dollars to feed and house their slaves, keep them on the party-plantation, and ensure their dependence on government subsidized food & housing will cause them to vote that the party has more & more power.

ETA: Also, I am not a republican and I don't support Trump but I can't help but scoff at the Democratic Party's attempts to deflect their own party's shame onto Republicans.

Everybody who voted democratic, even the billionaires and millionaires, then according to your logic are of a slave mentality.

There are no people who just legitimately want to be humanitarians…?

Or no people who just want to vote for politicians who do things for the poor and middle class.

Your analogy to slavery just is not convincing.

In-fact the reason Trump won the rust belt states is because of his promises to help the lower and middle classes. Are they slave too?

Your premise is absurd.

And just because in 1860 democrats were the bad guys doesn’t have anything to do with 2017

If you want to go back that far and relate politics to today then blacks should get reparations with your model of judgment

Blaming democrats in the year 2017 for what democrats believed in 1860 makes little sense

But odly that's what groups like BLM are doing. They are trying to blame the evil of the past on the present. And want to do things like remove statues change names all because they believe the past effects us. But you claim other wise so whish is it?

Go back and reread what I wrote, Will. I specifically said that the party's leadership represents the slave owners.

I don't believe Democratic party voters, on an individual level, are anything but slaves to them. WHETHER THEY REALIZE IT OR NOT.

You’re the one who is saying all democrats who want to help the poor are only out for votes. You have to prove that. You just can’t rely on your opinion.

What about all the promises Trump gave to his voters. Are they slaves too?

Oh, only democrats who want to help the poor are cynical, when republicans do it's all right

For the record, I think most Democratic party supporters are lovely folks with good hearts. They just don't see that their goodness is being exploited.

Studies show Conservatives give more to charity than Democrats....just sayin'.

Dems are not as charitable with their own money as some like to believe. They tend to want to take YOUR money and redistribute it, but using their own personal stash?...not so much.

I don't think you really grasp what this election was about. Anything but Hillary. And when I say "anything", I mean even Trump. Hell, I'd have voted for Bernie, a guy who comes out and admits he's a full blooded socialist, but not Hillary.

Sadly for you guys. Your best, the very best you had, was beaten by Trump. Donald J. Trump. Bwahahahahahahah!!!!!!!

Who got trolled?

I said nothing of democrats as in voters. Only politicians. If you wish to have a discussion, comprehend what is said.

I don't share any delusions that politicians sans identity have my nor your best interests at heart. Not if they expect to remain one anyway.

Man can you imagine the outrage of a trump lying about a dead ambassador in the rose garden? The left would go ballistic

So wait, first the confederacy and everything to do with it must be cherished and should be one of pride but Trump fakes a plaque about the confederacy and no outrage?

Isn't that what the whole hoopla is about, the tearing down of supposed "treasured" monuments but he gets no flack for using that history to fake a plaque?

Hmmm..maybe it isn't about the confederacy then, just a reason to complain about the left doing this and that and that "cherished" history is not as important as they claim?

We all got trolled because voters were convinced they had to vote Republican/Democrat or their vote was wasted.

If 2% more of the population voted for the Libertarian candidate, we'd have a third option on every ballot in the U.S., in 2020. And they would be eligible for public funding, too.

Instead, we are still stuck with the same two crappy parties and the suckers..err...voters are screwed by the two party system, again.

I checked the polls the night before I voted, last November. My state was going overwhelmingly for Trump. The best use of my vote was for a third party candidate.

5% of the vote is all it takes to make real and profound change when you cast your ballot.

People need to check the polls in their states and if their state is clearly going for one candidate...then their vote is best spent on a third party...even if they don't like the candidate necessarily.

I don't think Democrats are proud of the fact that they owned the Confederacy...that Lee, Jackson, Davis, Beauregard were all Democrats.

I think they would like to tear down the evidence of their party's slave-supporting history and try to project it onto Republicans.

ETA: I don't think Democrats should get away with destroying the evidence so easily! They should fully own it first...take responsibility for what their party did. Trying to project it on Republicans is not taking responsibility.

Instead they want to act like if it was not for them, Republicans would have slavery made legal, again. It's pathetically evil, really.
