They outwardly believe in Nazi ideology, of course, they have no political power yet, doesn't mean they don't exist and have significant numbers

It's sad that a poem that was written to combat and stand up against fascism is being repurposed to defend fascism.

Somebody on another thread used a holocaust survivor's poem about fascism ("first they came for...") to defend white nationalists.

Yep. That's what's going on here too.

A straw man. No one here is defending fascism.

And this thread is a slippery slope fallacy, but I don't see you calling the OP on that.

He's right. We're long past slippery slope arguments.

Actually they did use to.

But Senator Robert Byrd died, and his party cried when he passed, and said how great he was.

Only he wasn't a 'right' winger.

The fascist left only want you to defend free speech up to this point: .

If it goes one increment to the right, then you are a fascist. Now you know.

They're true idiots being lead by a bigger agenda, and some don't even know it.

I wasn't a god-damned Nazi when I defended Kathy Griffin's right to do her "art".

But now?

It's obvious that there are some who want no free speech, thought police.

They are outing themselves.

.....and they're using bored basement-dwellers to accomplish it.

Outside of Germany in the 30's/40s there are no NAZI's.

Agreed that this version are posers and chimps. However, they embrace the Nazi rhetoric in full knowledge of the evils that finally came to be associated with the NSDAP, unlike post WWI Germans. Plus, these goons are armed to the tits...also unlike post WWI Germans.

Look to the Germans to see how these self-styled Nazis ought to be handled. They have more skin in the game.

You don't even realize that its antifa that is fascist. Tasting down statues, shutting down opposing viewpoints, these are fascist actions. Then you call those countering these fascist actions fascists. Ridiculous.

That old song is still pertinent here and now.

Buffalo Springfied: For What It's Worth...

Y'all do realize this entire world is being run right at the threshold of collapse and dysfunction don't you.

If Y'all could stop arguing and think things through with a clear mind, without letting the media and the groups you are part of polluting your minds and your judgement...

Never mind...

No, but they have given the same rights we have as citizens to the corporations. There is your road to fascism, no matter what that liar in the OPs video says.

For the record those statues should have never gone up in the first place........BUT I don't like the power the ALT left is foisting on the nation, they have no boundaries as to protecting historical southern heritage which isn't always pleasant.

General Lee is considered a respected American, he was a soldier who fought for Virginia first, and the Confederacy second.
If his state was in the North he would fought for the North, that's just the way it was back then, the officers mostly all through in with their respective states, less they be thought of as traitors by their family and neighbors.

Maybe those statutes only belong in historical museums at this point......I could agree to that.

My fear is that the ALT-Left emboldened by their success will just keep pushing, and every time some idiot on the ALT-Right does something foolish they seize the moment to push a little further and politicians allow it, to placate the mob.
It happened with the confederate flags and now it's happening with confederate statues, and I am nervous as to what their next target will be.
