Hi, and thanks or giving me the space to share these weird experiences.

I had a very interesting UFO sighting recently and although I’m sure there will be many that might break their backs arguing the “balloon vs. drone” circular dance, I’m 100% sure it’s not.

www.youtube.com...

I went out back of my building to ground myself during a very stressful day. My grandmother had just died and I had been preparing to get on Amtrak to go the funeral. Family drama alway ensues and I wasn’t looking forward to that either.

When I got the to edge of the building looking west, I saw this object moving in the sky eastward.

I seriously thought it was a clump of balloons at first, but after noticing the odd flight pattern and feeling that it “might be” different, I decided to try recording it with my iPhone anyway. I’ve missed out on what would have been very interesting full video captures before by not taking what I was looking at seriously, so when I see something moving oddly and seemingly changing shape, I feel its best to record what I can and ask questions later.

It seemed to move deliberately eastward and then hover. At one point I moved to my left to make sure I keep it in frame and accelerates out of the shot.

I ran to the front of the apartment to see if I could capture anymore.

By the time I got out front it was still there, and I was able to get about another four minutes of video.

It did seem to flip and dance at times, and then suddenly start moving eastward again.

The curious thing were the people standing by. There were at least two people on the sidewalk to the north of me. One of them actually looked up and saw me holding the phone up towards the sky and filming… Both stayed focused with their heads down looking at the cell phones.

This is by far one of the most unusual, vivid and relatively ‘close’ realtime video captures, that happened in broad daylight in public, and I’m still not certain anyone else saw this.

I’m still looking.

This is a very long edit because there appears to be a lot going on.

Another UFO crosses in the shot…and near the end of one of the clips an “orb” flies in and out of the frame.

I tried to show closer and slowed down versions of all the activity in this very bizarre video. You can of course scrub forward at anytime to look at closeups of the first or second UFOs or the orb.

Below are some short edits featuring closeups.

Even though people read less and less, I will say this now for anyone who cares to pay attention.

When I started posting on this forum back in 2013, I thought that would be my one and only UFO video capture. As some of you are beginning to notice, I’ve posted a few more than one…and I’m beginning to realize how unusual this is. I never planned this.

I need to state here that my intent was and still is to share my experiences, and not necessarily “debate” the reality of whether I actually experienced them.

I need to reiterate that these are “real” experiences… If there’s a .05% chance the capture is a bug, balloon or drone, I won’t post it. Also, I barely understand how to use my video editing software and have NO idea how to do any sophisticated CGI.

I can’t really explain the amount of captures Ive shared…nor do I care to try to. They just “are”. I share them for those who are willing to watch… They are especially for the benefit of other experiencers.

Thanks for taking a look. Be kind to each other. And try to keep the thread out of the “balloon” vs. “drone” circular argument. It’s neither. On the other extreme, when I called in to report it, the guy asked me if I thought it was a space alien. How would I know this? I have NO idea what this is. I’ve never claimed any of my captures are aliens…

But THIS a wild capture, so I’m sharing it here for other researchers and especially other experiencers to look at. Thanks.

Cool find..... I've never experienced such and wonder if I ever will.

Looking forward to what others have to say. Looks legit to me.

what i find interesting is that you started filming what is seemingly a dull looking building and then it appears...why were you filming in the first place? As it doesnt make sense that you would be filming a building at that angle for no reason, its like you were waiting for it to appear?

Can you clarify this at all..

When I see the words "shape changing" in a UFO report, it usually makes me cringe for what I'm about to read about that stated fact. The cringing is because of the careless use of the word which is precisely used to add drama to the supposed UFO.

I know, the term comes partly from the fact that when a conventional aircraft is seen in the sky that it displays, continually, the simple characteristics of its form: wings, tail, fuselage, engine pods/prop, noise, etc ever as the perspective changes for the witness. But when it is not a conventional aircraft, a thing of unknown dimensions, etc. it is totally incorrect to say that it was "shape changing." If it simply shifts it position in the breeze or tumbles to present a different perspective to the viewer, is that "shape changing?"

Various kinds of balloons, especially non-spherical Mylar balloons, are prone to be easily witnessed to be "shape changing" when they tumble and shift in the slightest breeze. Any such "UFO" sighting over an urban area is almost always going to be nothing exotic and deemed largely a waste of time by ATS members, many of which have a keen sense of observation.

I wish this was standard equipment for all the UFO shots in these modern times.

Thats nice.

To be a 100% sure that its not something, that is a reasonable explanation for the phenomena means you must know what it is and its not a UFO.

So, was it Helicopter?

It certainly hovers and moves like one.

It seemed to move deliberately eastward and then hover. At one point I moved to my left to make sure I keep it in frame and accelerates out of the shot.

Yes, a helicopter, which you likely knew it was, will move in a deliberate manner any way the pilot pilots the things and they can also hover.

At what point did it accelerate out of the shot?

When it went over the building from your perspective?

Another UFO crosses in the shot…and near the end of one of the clips an “orb” flies in and out of the frame.

at 1:20 minutes in the first video there is a bug that flies past the camera really quick, is that the orb you are talking about?

Who out of the replies you have received from the videos you post has claimed that what you experience isn't real?

What people have been debating you is your claim in every Thread, every thread, that its 100% not bugs or balloons.

Once people view the videos, yes, a small number of people are mystified but the majority can see what you capture simply buy watching without any real analysis, and most have been insects.

This video, has an insect again, which I assume you are saying is the 'orb'.

The main object, well, I already said what I thought, it snot so out there that there would be a chopper flying above LA, moving east and hovering.

If there’s a .05% chance the capture is a bug, balloon or drone, I won’t post it.

Funny thing, I might have go and have a look

The last few threads, last 2 or 3.

You mention a few things you are certain its not,

Like this thread, the main object I said is a helicopter.

You mention, balloon, drone and bug.

Well it could be a drone but because you said drone, I assume it was helicopter.

The last thread, you mentioned it wasn't a bird, drone or balloons and you video clearly showed a bug fly close to the camera.

It seems you know what these things most likely are that you capture and in the last few threads and mention the standard answers but actually leave out the standard answer of what the actual object you captured is and you call it a UFO.

I thought it was a drone at first - specifically a 3DR Drone.
But like 99% of drones, there are orientation lights - Red and Green, on each model.

Although one set of the lights can be turned off by the user - Green, the reds usually stay on.
They show the front of the craft to allow any other would be approaching craft to not fly in to the objects vector.

Its not a consumer level drone. Possibly its someones hobby craft specifically designed that way.

One thing to consider is that in order for the drone to maneuver the way it does in the video, it would need 4 props - which are not visible in any frame.

I guess you didnt hear anything coming from the craft?
It would sound like a swarm of bees.

You're right. I should've left out the helium and attributed the flight of the bag to a wind anomoly.

I've seen a fair amount of videos that look like this that are best explained as a mylar balloon filled with helium. I'm going with mylar balloon filled with helium.
