Ahhhh

Ok I comepletey see your point ( I hope)

The argument would be all things being equal ( yes we get it Nazis decades ago killed countless people, but not this group, still the same disgusting hate, but no deaths).....

Who is more dangerous?

The neo nazi's who get universal condemnation from the MSM and really anyone out in the open?

Or the violent group of antifa or the violent sects of BLM ( sects, not all of blm is violent and has condemned acts ) that goes unchecked by the MSM

If I see your point... You may have changed my opinion on the topic at hand here. I think you may be right, that an unchecked violent group could in fact pose more of a threat to the country than a checked one.

Yes you worded it far better than me.

Now I am not saying that these radical nazis shouldn't be take seriously; on the contrary we should step up legal efforts to defeat groups like this.

But they are already on watch lists, the MSM condmns there every move, and its toxic to have any association with them.

But antifa is hardly mentioned in the MSM, or excuses are made for them, or like now they call anyone who criticized antifa at this rally a nazi defender.

And they aren't considered an extremist group by most law enforcement; who we have even seen let them totally destroy Berkley with almost no consequences.

This is a truly dangerous cocktail.

Somewhere in that post lies the motive. Nice catch!

I m half english/scots/irish and half german, have lost family members in every war up to Korea. My ancestors owned slaves in NJ and MO, as evidenced by their wills. I own a confederate battle flag belt buckle. At the same time, my best friend in FL was a black man, he indicated that it bothered him, so I didn't wear it around him. Where has our human decency gone?

Maybe a little misplaced, but any video evidence of the left doing violence in VA? I had to disconnect for a couple of days, I haven't seen any, but am willing to accept it happened with evidence.

What's crazy to me is that when talking about the Charlottsville violence, TV networks keep showing the same 45 seconds of clashes, over and over again. Both sides have weapons and are fighting each other like wanna-be warriors. If you catch that clip (which isn't hard), you'll shake your head. If it weren't for a death in the midst of the protests, the whole event would be almost forgotten by now.

They taught me he was a genius war general. And a traitor to the union. One can be smart and powerful and still on the wrong side of history my friend.

He was a great man in the United States Army before he left for the Confederacy. Sometimes things a wee bit conflicted.

I always find you to be quite reasonable, even when we disagree.

Thank you, I don't agree with the fringe on either side. Hadn't seen that. Combatants, equally armed fighting it out, no problem, some douche weasel mowing down a woman crossing a street, yeah he is douche weasel and deserves to rot.

Those of us towards the middle will survive as the fringe burns off, and it needs to on both ends.

If you don't like the message, ignore it.

People these days are absolutely pathetic. Hysteria over free speech. Never thought I'd see the day.

IGNORE IT. TURN OFF THE TV. WALK AWAY.

How hard is that?

It didnt. You didnt.

The flag does. Because it stands for hate and racism. Despite the recent attempt at revisionist history. It MAY not have stood for hate in the 1860's.. I dunno I wasnt there. But I know what it stood for in the 20th and now the 21st century. and thats what I care about.

I bring hate? No. I bring logic. And logic dictates I will not sit idly by when someone shoves the confederate flag of hate in my face. I dont bring violence. I bring words. Would I act like the people in the video? No. Probably not. But Id certainly attempt at digging into his brain and list of off some facts he may or may not be aware of.

What does this flag stand for? Hate? Racism? White supremacy? Nazi love?

What does the artist sing about? Race wars? hate of the Black man?

I really do get that lots of people believe that the flag symbolizes racism, It's out of ignorance, not fact based.
If you live around people who understand things in the south, then you might see why that is such a false equivalency.
Racism still exists, racists still exist, but a symbol of a geographic location and way of life isn't the deciding factor, what's in the heart of that person is.

At this moment, there are many people on the left who feel as if their opinion is paramount and their will not only "should" be done, but they are actively ensuring that it IS done, and everyone else's opinions are not a factor. That my friend is fascism. No part of a group has the right to make decisions for the entire population, this needs to stop before it becomes something horrible. And I am not condoning violence, I am strongly against it. But pushing will eventually end with a push back.

I am from a little town in Florida so small it has no traffic lights .
for most of the years I lived there was little to be proud about we closed banks on Thursday at noon ( a old custom from when they did hanging on Thursdays ( the tree still beside the court house .

The old Guard city conceal who tried there best to keep the town down . restricted every thing made it darn near impossible to start a business of any type . ( took us 20 years to clean out thous old fossils .

Anyway two time KKK decided to show up and stand out front of the court house tring to hand out there papers .
Now Monticello is darn near = in black and whites who live in the county 50% of each darn near .

Well The kkk was greeted with being totally ignored so much in fact we didnt even bother to roll up our car windows just acted like they were not there .The whole town did this well 2 hours rolls by and once again teh court house stands quite they did not get what they wanted and left after just 2 hours .

The town all had a privet laugh over this ( not even a foot note in the town paper )
I was for the first time proud of the town i lived in and you know the kkk did help change something we got closer then we had ever been crime want down houses were fixed we talked with each other more .
the old guard was kicked out and teh town started to grow new business opened and new faces a fine man voted in as police chief .

It is still a small town but now a town with pride and that made all the difference .
If every one ignored all this crap they would go looking for there fix some ware else .
