Thank-you for the report from Japan, MusicIsMagic. I think the "back channel" discussions between the USA and North Korea are bearing fruit. China also agreed today to apply Coal and Gas sanctions against North Korea.

Kim Jong must be getting the message that he can't win. But if he really is NUTS, the launches could happen at any moment, regardless of the official NK media is reporting.

The fact that Japan does NOT have the missile defense in place in the 2 prefectures, which they did have time to move them there, but I speculate something else was known and it wasn't public. Tokyo has them though. Also the US military in mainland Japan and the Japanese forces just seem to be chil'n out at the moment. Also it is holiday season here and I haven't heard of mandatory cancellations of leave.
The think is, if North Korea plan is to really trick the US, its working. See, Okinawa and South Korea would be on NK radar for destruction and here is the thing. America strikes first, NK with its all out power lets loose to destroy Okinawa and SK, then Guam sends in the bombers and China shoots them down. In other words, in other words, US forces CAN NOT strike first, they and south Korea already had 2 chances over the years to attack North Korea. This is why I said, North Korea is blowing hot air.
HAS ANY ONE HERE REALLY THOUGHT OF WHAT IS GOING ON: NORTH KOREA IS ACTUALLY GETTING RID OF THEIR MISSILES TO PLEASE BOTH CHINA, JAPAN, SOUTH KOREA AND AMERICA. YES , CHINA NOW BANNED SOME STUFF, (MAYBE FOR SHOW)

Anyway, North Korea can and will do small attacks on the border of South Korea, just to keep the game of BS going. Nothing happens that way.

I'm suprised to not see this reported more widely... his absence seems significant to his stated plans.

That's because all the media is focused on 1 man killing 1 woman in Charlottesville. There are 44 murders A DAY in the United States.

Let's get this 8 hour war started and over with!

Not to mention the 55 shot and 9 killed in the Leftist disaster area called Chicago just last week.
What about those racists?

As far as the fat boy in NK, he is probably on his monthly cheese removal purge.

I think the current idea is that we just want to get rid of Un specifically, not necessarily try to democratize NK. We would just rather have a leader in there, even if he's Communist, that doesn't insist on being such a pain in the ass.

Well, as a person who lives a block from the Space Needle in downtown Seattle, I don't like this type of news coming out... I hope we don't see a false flag or something.. I hope NK really isn't capable of hitting any West coast city/Hawaii/Guam/etc...

Well I see no Problem in North Korea doing a few missile tests and Nuclear explosions in the seas nearby.

I suggest the World allow him to do some tests on a little island in the Pacific called, Bikini Atoll!!.

Its not like it hasn't already been Pulverised by Atom Bombs.

A great Peace? loving nation dropped 23 Atomic bombs on Bikini Atoll over a 10 year period.....Oh you didnt get that?

I said 23 !!!, that is TWENTY THREE !!!! Nuclear bombs on Bikini Atoll.........all in the name of Peace, of course...

Strange how that same nation, is all in a twist, because another sovereign nation wants to do some "Tests" on an island too.

Who threw the first stone?

Why cant other people throw stones too?

Humans ehh.....Want can you do?

I understand that Kim is going to keep an eye on the US for a bit longer before going through with the attack on Guam:

Wall Street Journal report on Kim backing off Guam attack

However, such reports don't jive with other reports, such as the one about Kim having disappeared for a couple of weeks (like another time before an ICBM test), or missiles being prepared, etc.

I don't think we should let our guard down. He is too dangerous.

As for the submarine missile test, it's still on as far as I can tell. Haven't seen any reports to the contrary.

Until Lil' Kim backs down and stops his tests and threats, we have to remain on alert. If we let our guard down and then he attacks, we'll have no one to blame but ourselves.

They're not capable of nuking you yet, but if we keep kicking the can down the road they will be.

Without official gov treaties or agreements

A test isn't just a test when it comes to INTL Law

Since when is INTL law important for US? US brake it whenever they feel like but expect others to follow it. It doesn't work that way.

Hello whywhynot,

Thanks for this post on Jungle Kim. And no, I don't take it as doom porn. You bring up a very valid point, and a valid concern.

Considering that the "Trade War" with China sort of got launched last Monday, "maybe" China said "go for it Kim".

And as another thread contributor said, tomorrow is National Liberation Day for Korea...can Jungle Kim pass on such an auspicious day to launch a missile, or a few missiles? And will they be headed towards Guam, or Hawaii, or both or more?

With all of the idiotic race crap going on in the USA currently, a hostile missile launch with one of the USA's assets or allies in it's sights would/could make the perfect storm for the USA. Not a good thing at all.

Yes, I remember the hiding under the desks stuff, in fact I saw the Cuban Missile Crisis from my backyard. I was living at Roosevelt Roads Naval Station during that mess, and saw ships on the horizon blockading Cuba. I was quite young and did not fully grasp the danger at the time. All of the men were "gone", and the women were trying to keep busy by sweeping their porches, etc, and a lot of them were crying as they tried to remain "normal" during the crisis. Their husbands had to disappear suddenly, and no one knew if they would be coming home or not.

One thing in all of this that bothers me greatly is for such a long time there has been a certain group or faction calling for a large population cull.

Facts are coming out that shed light on the never ending news media attacks on President Trump, and if certain people actually did their jobs, we could see a lot of traitors being arrested.

The closer it gets to some of the Washington DC scumbags getting arrested, the closer a terrible war is likely to break out to remove all thoughts of justice for the DC swamp critters.

How does firing 1, 4, or 8 missiles into international waters off the coast of Guam constitute an act of war?

because there has been no peace treaty between north and south korea.

if you read the Korean Armistice Agreement it reads "insure a complete cessation of hostilities and of all acts of armed force in Korea"
The norks firing missiles at Guam would be a violation of this Armistice Agreement.

I live in reality-I don't have cable or watch the news. Hope you are taking your own advice. Showing concern is a natural response.
