He named the Enemy. Thats right. President Trump NAMED the enemy. WS, Nazis, Neo-Nazis, KKK etc., It was real easy for Obama to say White Supremacy, but god forbid he give in to the Political Talking Point of Radical Islamic Terror.

Failing New York Times

We saw Donald Trump’s true colors on Saturday, when he was given the chance — a ready-made moment for presidential grace — to denounce the neo-Nazis in Charlottesville, Va., and instead found wrongdoing “on many sides.” That was Trump minus the pressure and the planning. That was his initial instinct, his first impulse.

Both sides were looking to pick a fight. If you have Protesters and Counter Protesters at a Location MANY sides are looking to pick a fight. Why is that so hard for the Left to understand? Come on people use Logic. 8 Years of Obama and he never named the enemy. He only grouped all Muslims in the same category as the enemy by not specifically calling out the enemy. Just like how the Democrats Grouped all White People into the same category as White Supremacists after Trump won the election.

It does not matter to the anti Trump crowd. They will find fault with anything he does.

Obama did name the enemy. He used the names of specific organizations freely: ISIS, ISIL, the Tali Ban.

Oh, you're hung up on the fact that he wouldn't use the term "radical Islamist terrorist?"

Obama didn't feel it was prudent to conflate the religion (Islam) with the act (terrorism) for fear that it promotes the idea that Islam itself is to blame and all Muslims are part of the problem. His view was that it was specific terrorist groups, fueled by their own socio-political agendas, who used Islam as a way to accomplish their objectives, rather than something inherent to Islam itself.

People can disagree with Obama. They certainly do, especially on this forum.

But it's not quite the same thing as refusing to call out known hate groups by name.

Seeing the photographs of both sides makes me think of the comic strip "Jocks and the Geordies".

There are white Democrats, you know. Did they label themselves White Supremecists?

No.

Your thread is ridiculous and laughable.

Wish you guys would stop being partisan douchebags.

You just proved my point. By not saying RIT you grouped all Muslim Terrorists into the same category as Moderate Muslims.

You just proved my point. Mangos are great!

You see how that works? I too can take something totally unrelated to what you've said and assign it to you in a totally nonsensical manner.

Congrats. And here's a cigar!

Again, your thread is junk and your premise is absurd.

No, he didn't name the enemy.

“on many sides.” does nothing but prolong the chronic irritation of all of this BS.

If he had any sense he would have called out the intolerance of the facists who are incapable of understanding that other people have opinions and who clearly wish to have an oppressive, dictatorial control over social issues.

If he had any sense he would have called out those who would like to see anyone, not of their kin, oppressed and marginalised or worse.

These minorities are taking up waaaay too much oxygen, and as usual the press are using it to be as divisive as possible. Let the division continue.

No, I am not saying it's an untrue statement, clearly is is true.

The problem with the statement is that it is WEAK, and does nothing, as I have noted, but prolong the irritation of these minority groups, while simultaneously providing the press another opportunity to try to divide us.

Yeah on Fox they were just talking about this and one of the commentators said Trump was guilty of doing exactly what he accused Obama of doing, waffling and not naming the enemy. Except that Trump corrected himself in 2 days. Big difference.

So what you're saying is that you will never not be partisan just in spite of the media? Because they're not going to stop being partisan because it is serving their agenda by radicalising the right. Trump is doing his part by radicalising the left and we get what we have today, hate and division.

They're doing a great job of dividing us so far, people are eating it up.
