And all the southern states were blue before 1967 and flipped when the northern dems decided to champion civil rights..

The civil rights movement was fought within the democrats party..

After the segregationists loose, The republicans were just more than happy to swap a couple policies to accept them into the fold..

I'm assuming you already know all that as it is common knowledge..

Check any electoral map pre 1967 and then one afterward..

Ah the old party changed routine it didn't. Ever heard of Robert Byrd Hillary's mentor or so she claimed. LBJ only went to civil rights because the Democrats couldn't win. LBJ was a huge racist as we're many democratic senators at the time. HE referred to the Civil Rights Act of 1957 as the “ni**er bill” in more than one private phone conversation with Senate colleagues. And he reportedly said upon appointing African-American judge Thurgood Marshall to the Supreme Court, “Son, when I appoint a ni**er to the court, I want everyone to know he’s a ni**er.”

THIS WAS THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY THAT FOUGHT FOR CIVIL RIGHTS. IT WAS A SHAM TO FOOL PEOPLE TO VOTE DEMOCRAT.

You should probably read up on the "Southern Strategy" before you keep saying stuff like that. The vast majority of Southern Democrats (like former Senator & Governor Strom Thurmond) switched parties to become Republicans directly after the Civil Rights Movement ended forced segregation. And the liberal Republicans switched over to the Democratic Party which helped end those laws.

Here's what Lee Atwater, the former Republican National Committee Chairman & former member of the Reagan administration, had to say about it in his own words:

You start out in 1954 by saying, “N_gger, n_gger, n_gger.” By 1968 you can’t say “n_gger”—that hurts you, backfires. So you say stuff like, uh, forced busing, states’ rights, and all that stuff, and you’re getting so abstract. Now, you’re talking about cutting taxes, and all these things you’re talking about are totally economic things and a byproduct of them is, blacks get hurt worse than whites.… “We want to cut this,” is much more abstract than even the busing thing, uh, and a hell of a lot more abstract than “N_gger, n_gger.”

Only if they don't know all the southern states flipped republican in the very next year after the democrats championed civil rights...

You can check an electoral map and the years before the civil rights act they are all blue states..

Once the dems champion civil rights the instantly flip and start naming schools after confederate generals as an FU to segregation..

Which I assume you already know...

Oh you mean the Dixiecrats? The group that wanted to keep Jim Crowe laws (created by democrats) in place?
Yeah, I read all about their strategy to infiltrate the GOP and make it what you percieve it as today. Remember, LBJ said he'd have -colorful term that he loved to use- voting democrat for the next 200 years.

Stalin would be proud of the DNC for the army of useful idiots they created.

It's not a narrative.. it's called the historical record....

It isn't hard to check..nor is it some subjective unmeasurable...

Either A: you already know all of that and are just trolling..

Or B: you just totally trust rush Limbaugh and have never checked..

Lmao...

Second point...

Yea it was hard to find anyone during segregation who wasn't a flaming racist....

Just like your average civil war abolitionist would make your modern day KKK member take pause because.." well I don't think they ALL are worse at everything..."

Ever see any of the MANY hard core racist Lincoln quotes???

None of that changes the fact all the anti segregation southerners swapped political parties after 1967..

In 1966 the GOP wasn't anti civil rights.. but they also weren't the face of it..

The civil rights act was a civil war between northern and southern democrats. With democrats championing both sides while the GOP voted yes but didn't become the face of the movement..

After the GOP lost that election they used the "southern strategy" to win the next year..

All well documented and not even remotely hard to research.. thank you google..
