"I'm here to take part in this great celebration of our heritage and to say 'no' to the city of Charlottesville. You're not going to tear down our statue and you're not going to replace us," noted white nationalist Richard Spencer told NBC affiliate WVIR.
Chanting "All White Lives Matter," and "No More Brother Wars," the crowd, which said they were protecting their "white heritage" from the Charlottesville City Council’s decision to remove a statue in the Virginia town’s park

Only when they're denying the history and culture of others ...
Like the japanese? They out right banned Islam from their country. Now guess how many people are offended by it. It's only a problem if whites do it. Yeah nothing hypocritical about this.
That's an utterly muddled argument. The Japanese have nothing to do with what's going on in Charlotte.
No one here has ever said "it's only a problem if Whites do it" except those whining to justify more racism.

So you're implying only Whites can be racist. Ok.

I live in South Carolina so it's not my expirience.
Moat blacks I know don't like the idea of memorials glorifying the confederacy. Like I said memorials that don't do that seem to be a better choice.

In your opinion the black population likes memorials that glorify confederate soldiers or talk about white supremacy or can you admit some may be bad choices and erected after the civil rights movement?

If this was really about the statue, and history, and not the racial implications, they would label their actions as protecting American heritage instead of labeling it "white heritage".
Racists make themselves pretty obvious if you take the time to listen.
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Socialist. Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Now you're being disingenuous as well. Did I say anything resembling "the black population likes memorials ..."
Nope. You're going to have to play strawman arguments with someone else.

Perhaps the problem is that some white supremacists don't hold up pictures of the Mona Lisa or books by Shakespeare ... they hold up swastikas and portraits of A. Hitler.
That might have something to do with it.
