He fears he'll get his ass kicked by Lil Kim, so he'll strong arm a third world banana republic instead.

Oh Oh !!

Things getting real hot with North Korea and now Trump is "talking" about Venezuela !!

He says military action there isn't out of the question.

Look out.

Maduro is next.

Trump says he’s considering military response to Venezuela

WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Donald Trump said Friday that he's considering possible military action against Venezuela in response to the country's descent into political chaos following President Nicolas Maduro's power grab.

Speaking to reporters at his Bedminster, New Jersey, golf club, Trump bemoaned the country's growing humanitarian crisis and declared that all options remain on the table - including a potential military intervention.

"We have many options for Venezuela and by the way, I'm not going to rule out a military option," Trump volunteered, adding, "A military operation and military option is certainly something that we could pursue."

Maybe Trump realized he's losing his game of chicken with North Korea and needs to wag the dog?

I thought Trumps supporters wanted to stop wasting money in overseas actions and focus on people here at home. Remember the whole America First cry? Are we now doing a 180 on that policy and being interventionist everywhere?

I thought the big dumb ass was going all "america first" and stuff....

Hows about we fix problems here instead of policing the world like he complained the U.S. has been doing for too long during his campaign?.

...Just a bunch of frickin gold-fish...

The republicans handed themselves this idiot via gerrymandering.

...A thing that will come to the forefront very soon if we all live through the current nonsense...

This was the lesser of two evils. Clinton would had basically dismantled the US by now.

I agree, if NK fires on us we need to retaliate. We should be seeking to deescalate the situation though. Trump is looking a bit unhinged instead. I assume that's what he's going for, he wants to send the message to NK that we're the biggest, baddest, guys around and that we're utterly crazy and just looking for an excuse to attack. Perhaps that will work on them, or perhaps they'll see through the ruse.

It's not in our interests to attack NK, but it's not in our interests for them to attack us either. That's why I think NK policy for the past 30 years (and maybe longer than that) has been flawed. If NK attacks us, I won't blame Trump... it's just a culmination of bad foreign policy by his predecessors. What I will blame him for is for not fixing it when he had the chance.

Trump's got 'em all triggered again !!

So far, he hasn't spent a dime.

And probably won't.

The "Fear" of words is a strong weapon.

Yup.

Every State is gerrymandered statewide by popular vote.

For a douche that was too chicken to serve in the military, he sure likes to threaten with our military. I have pretty much come to the conclusion that he is certifiably insane. I am a veteran and do not want to see my brothers and sisters sent off to some other land, to fight another war that there is no end to. Don't people ever learn.

Why should the citizenry accept any evil at all?

Yet another example of how uninformed the left is. This has nothing to do with supporting Trump. Your post is a prime example of how willfully ignorant the left has become. You apparently do not understand the world wide ramifications of what it would mean to allow Venezuela to implode.

Keep making it about identity politics. That's all the left is capable of these days.

What about war criminals who have Nobel Peace Prizes? I'm sure the people of Syria and Libya would be interested......

What effect would Venezuela imploding have on my life in the USA? Honestly asking, middle class working guy, how will this affect me?
