I did know where to put this so here it goes

Apparently at least one Canadian diplomat has been in the hospital being treated for hearing loss.

This comes after American diplomats complained of severe hearing loss in Havana cuba.

"Confirmation of health issue comes day after U.S. says diplomats in Havana targeted by sonic weapon"

"Global Affairs Canada has confirmed at least one Canadian diplomat in Cuba has been treated in hospital after suffering headaches and hearing loss.

The information comes a day after the U.S. government said it believed some of its diplomats in Havana had been targeted with a covert sonic device that left them with severe hearing loss."

Not very nice after having relations open with America in 2015.

Attack?
Weird happenings?

If they are really being targeted by the Cubans, wouldn't the US consider that act of war?

Possibly.
I always wondered about China hacking computers too. How is that not an act of war?

The difference is the US is dependent on China's economic relationship. With Cuba, it's very different since Cuba got isolated ever since the Soviet Union fell in 1991.

Interesting story, but wouldn't there be a lot more people affected by this? Or are they saying it was some sort of accurately directed attack? I haven't ever heard of devices that can be directed at a single person unless really close in which case I would think the device would be seen.

At least we need to to get the heck outta Cuba. Forget that pipe dream of openness. If Cuba allows or does this to our diplomats then screw them. Give them a taste of their own medicine-let's fly over Cuba blasting 80's music-the absolute worst.

Having the ability to make a room or building full of soldiers lose their hearing could be very useful.
Maybe this was some sort of test.

They didn't really say how it was done.
But I would think if only a few people are effected it might be they were targets.

Oh no, you take care of this ominous enemy.

We've got refugee stuff to deal with.

This story is bizarre. Why would you test a sonic weapon on diplomats, of all people? I'd think Cuba would test such a device on dissidents, or prisoners, or someone else who's considered expendable.

Refugees are not a problem. You go by the same standards of immigration as American is expected to follow don't you? Snickersssss...
So you should have other more pressing problems.

How is the possible attack of diplomats a joke or propaganda?

If you're not going to explain your comments, why do you bother?

Perhaps it's not the Cuban's. Lots of interest in the Caribbean these days. China, Russia, or one of the many drug cartels that operate out of Cuba would get my vote.
