You're behind the right-wing news curve.

NY Post - Paul Manafort searching for a new lawyer amid Mueller probe

A person close to Manafort insisted he has no concern about Mueller’s connection with WilmerHale. It’s unclear if Brown will continue to work for Manafort, or if he will represent him in a diminished capacity.

Manafort, 68, is under investigation by the DOJ, as well as New York AG Eric T. Schneiderman and Manhattan DA Cyrus Vance Jr, all of which are probing payments he received for his work for Viktor Yanukovych, Ukraine’s former pro-Putin president, and whether he laundered those funds through his many New York real estate holdings.

Manafort has been close with Trump for years, according to texts hacked from his daughter’s cell phone and released on the internet last year.

The Post first reported the strange story of how Manafort came to acquire a derelict Brooklyn brownstone — and his shady financial connections to son-in-law Jeffrey Yohai, with whom he has a rocky relationship.

The Hill - OPINION | Why did the FBI raid Paul Manafort’s home?

In the case of Manafort's home, the FBI agent would need to set forth the evidence they were looking for, such as specific documents and records. If the records weren't the sort of thing that people usually kept at home, the agent would need to explain why they believe Manafort kept those records at his home. Then the prosecutor on Mueller's team would present that affidavit to a federal judge as part of an application for a search warrant.

That brings us to the most important implication of the news of the Manafort raid. The fact that a search warrant was issued means that a federal judge also concluded that there was good reason to believe that a crime was committed and that evidence of that crime would be found at Manafort's home. As far as we know, that is the first time that an independent third party concluded that there was evidence of criminal activity involving anyone related to Mueller's investigation.

Fox News - How Paul Manafort is connected to the Trump, Russia investigation

Along with Donald Trump Jr., Trump’s eldest son, Manafort met with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskay in June 2016. She was said to have damaging information on Trump’s campaign rival, Hillary Clinton, which was “part of Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump."

Fox News - Judge Nap: FBI Could Be Trying to Flip Manafort Against Trump

Judge Andrew Napolitano thinks that the FBI's raid of Paul Manafort's home is definitely a "bad thing" for President Trump.

On "Fox & Friends" this morning, Napolitano explained that the FBI's modus operandi is often to indict an individual linked to a bigger target on an unrelated matter and then getting them to flip as a state witness.

I'm sure soon enough you'll be posting Manafort article after Manafort article while trying to figure out how to distance him from Trump.
