Just my opinion, but I think Iran is watching how we treat and react to a burgeoning nuclear power.

Iran is a theocracy run by very irrational people.

North Korea is a dictatorship run by very irrational people.

Trump is creating a legacy for himself and the nation right now by how his administration acts and reacts.

I only hope he is listening to his generals.

With respect, what you have heard, or been told is just as likely to be incorrect/propaganda.

Quite a broad statement.

You're right of course, I still can't believe it's not butter.

I once bought double cream and found out it was vegetable oils too. You see, some things are fact. Like official statements from nations or the ingredients in my "cream".

Are you a full-fat kinda guy?

So join the army or a paramilitary group and go have fun bro. No one is stopping you and you certainly don't want to look "weak" now.

What makes them irrational?

Are they sending fleets to other nations in order to "bully" them into submission?

I mean Korea has the bomb, if Kim wished it I'm sure one could end up on a submarine or other vessel. Two good reasons exist for the US not to attack the DPRK, China and nuclear weapons.

China might not have their back anymore, it's not irrational to look at Syria and Libya and reckon the world would've backed off if they had nuclear arms.

Irrational Iran?

Again they'll get the bomb if they desire it, the propaganda machine is wired differently in the West, fortunately Israelis speak English... I know they've been blabbering on about a nuclear armed Iran for years.

It's like me following someone to the bank for years, every Friday, shouting he has a gun, every time.

Seems rational doesn't it?

Obviously you think that North Korea and Iran have rational leadership.

*shrugs*

You can't believe it's not butter and you consider official statements factual. You are in trouble.

... said the weapons dealer of Saudi Arabia, selling more crap while they wage war against their people. Where's the rational in that?

The real concern here would be, that the US is increasingly colluding with the west. Canada for example, at least they actually care what their machines of war are really used for.

Also, there are no concerns with Iran having nukes. It's called nuclear deterrence when you still have enough to light em up instantly, in case they'd dare to use them. Do you guys learn anything in school at all?

What does any of that have to do with Iran and North Korea colluding?

Jeff Heads (RIP) "Dragons Fury" might be a pertinent read for the times. It's "free PDF"

Some people are precient in writing fictional accounts of potential future issues and have nuggets of truth for basis. I'm thinking he wrote 15 years back?

There is much about NK/Iran nexus.

I see that Dragon's Fury was copyrighted in 2006. It seems that not much has changed with the overall scenario between the USA and those Eastern nations highlighted in the book. (I only read the Forward).

I'm starting to believe that the presenting of the plans (to Dear Leader) for sending the 4 North Korean missiles to Guam will not occur until Mid-August, because that's when the guidance calculations are returned to North Korea from Iran.

why should they not cooperate with each other on matters of mutual security??

Are you suggesting that they should not, or should not be permitted to cooperate on matters of mutual interest?

The US does it with other countries all the time. Where' exactly is the problem?

North Korea's recent ballistic missile test launches of today over Japan is a fraud invented by the Japanese government.
Their aim is to force the US to give ABM technology to yet another rogue colonialist imperialist and nazi-collaborator state. US ABM systems in Japan is only an attempt to steal classified missile technology. Nothing more.

Iran is not seeking to build nuclear weapons. Such weapons are the subject of a fatwa because Iran's theocracy holds that they are un-Islamic (the morality, not the science, I mean).

The US has been trying to pin a nuke scare on Iran for years now. But they have nothing. During the Clinton administration the US actually tried to encourage Iran to build a hydrogen bomb by "leaking" fake blueprints to Iranian sources. If followed, these blueprints would have produced a non-viable dud "H-Bomb" but the US would have been able to say Iran was actively trying to build one. However, the plan failed because of the Iranian aversion to nuclear weapons. They wouldn't even sniff at it.

All that might well change in the unforeseeable future, if there's some huge cultural shift in Iran, but for the time being the Iranian nukes scare-story is just that: A scare-story.
