Tried that before you, didn't work. They do not fall for pointing out "double-standards".

It is obvious, though.

I'd say that the Republican party is in the same state. Including being devoid of a leader.

I would say that there is a crisis within the DNC over the direction of the message and leadership roles, etc.

I don't have a problem with that. There are a group of Bernie inspired "purists" that are mirror image to the hard right Tea Party folks - like the current Fredom Caucus. They are fairly immature in my opinion but I'm not a dewy-eyed idealist.

Bernie bros and male Dems also have a streak of, dare I say, sexism. They tend to shut the women out and shout their voices down. The women, especially women of color, are extremely fed up and blame them in part for Hillary's loss and the current mess.

Out of this chaos they will either become a stronger whole or will, as seems typical, continue infighting with Bernie leading the breakdown and helping cause a division on the left. I voted for Bernie in the primaries- as time goes on, I'm less impressed.

So yeah. There are issues. I would say the right has them too, in spades.

That's why repeal & replace didn't happen. That's why tax reform will be a struggle. There is a huge division within the Rep Party that is blatant to anyone looking. They are futzing around with a lack of leadership at the top and chaos throughout.

I expected all of this. But darkness must come before the dawn. Hopefully that darkness isn't in the form of a nuclear winter. Bannon would love that though. It fits his ideology. (Wrote a thread about that.)

It looks like "Max Maxine" Waters has decided that she's the leader of the Democratic party. And I find that hilarious. She'd be the death of the DNC: Her base of support is racist blacks of the BLM fold, and it's well known that she lives far above her apparent means (which means she has a ton of unreported income).

I believe Nancy Pelosi (70 something) would seriously disagree with that. There is some reason they keep voting her leader and it is not because she is a good leader. She makes all of them look...not going to say the word.

They keep voting her as their leader because she's extremely effective.

Which by the way, is the very same reason that republicans dislike her so much.

If you compare her legislative achievements to those of John Beohner, Paul Ryan or Mitch McConnell, you'll see that for one thing, she knows how to count votes.

Overall, it looks to me like the core problem in the DNC is the "old guard" liberals, exemplified by people like Hillary, Sanders, Pelosi, and even Waters, do not want to step down and let the younger generation take over. The days when the Dems were the party of "youth & enthusiasm" (or however that went) appear to be long gone. The Democratic leadership is a bunch of 70-year-olds desperately clinging to their seats. It doesn't look like they've even spent much time cultivating a younger generation.

And now all of a sudden, you trust what CNN is saying?

What happened, I thought they were the biggest liars in MSM?

What makes you so sure this isn't just more fake news designed and coordinated between the DNC, CNN and those attempting to institute a New World Order just to fool the republicans into a false sense of security?

Luckily for the democrats, the republicans are in just as poor shape. They can't even repeal Obamacare that they promised to do for eight years.

Exactly what came to my mind when I read the OP!!!!

Sadly we have the same clowns on both sides, but the people are too party loyal to call a turd a turd.

Forget about laughing ,or blaming the other side, or enjoying their misery, or having the opportunity to stomp on your chest, Instead concentrate on your own party which is the ONLY place you can make a difference.

Both party Suck and are lobbyist run. The obamacare thing should be an embarrassment to the GOP after 8 years of crying obamacare will cause the end of the world. Trump is killing the Internet and the small guys voice with his pick of a lobbyist corporate wh0re to run the FCC which is undoing net neutrality principles.

The whole build a wall thing is a waste of money and un sustainable method to control the illegal immigration problem. American companies are giving illegals incentive to come here. Prosecute the companies enough to the point that the penalties out way the risk and they will STOP hiring illegals. That will stop the majority of illegals and will free up resources and make it more manageable to catch the real bad illegals that are not looking for work.

Don't get me wrong I'm very thankful that ratchet of a Clinton family didn't get rewarded for their scandalous and corrupted years of public service . Also appreciates Trump efforts in calling out the MSM bs and talking about the H1b visa issues bill ,despite the GOP congress efforts to ignore it , likely kill it or bastardize it.

However so far besides talk I haven't seen anything get changed for the better of the people by the fully in control congress and I don't see it changing either.

Anyone that is trying to justify their own political party as a Saviour or worthy of fixing the issues is living in a biased altered universe or have their head in a stinky dark place.

Trump said he was going to go after congress for term limits? where is that effort? Its the most important thing he could do in getting this country turned around and the first thing he should be working on. You can't expect to fix anything when the people that are making decisions have conflict of interest.

The GOP scum in congress must go aswell as they are a disaster, leaderless and in complete disarray when it comes to the people

Meh, CNN.

Fake News, everyone knows this.

Or did you decide that this one isn't fake? Hilarious, if you would ask me.

this is hilarious to see all the "Derp, I thought this was fake news", tools showing up. It's like they were waiting for months to spring this gem on the community.

News flash, all news pushes an agenda, if it's yours, it makes you feel good, if it's not, it's fake news. But most of the time, at least the agenda is fake, if not, the news as well.

CNN has been kind of caught with their pants down a couple more times than Fox as of late, hence the shock and awe that they would post a story that is counter to their agenda (which is Trash Trump, and smooch left leaning ass cheeks).

And yes, the Republicans are in just as much dissaray, they are just hiding it from the bulk of the MSM.

Perhaps one day, the "government" will stop trying to spend all it's time fighting the democratically elected leader and do their damn job. Leave the bitching and tantrums to the Tr-Hators.

I can only assume from CNN's reporting that the Democrats now have their act together. These CNN stories should give warning to the Republicans for 2018. They must surely know they can rely on the opposite of what CNN says as the truth.

This is all part of their playbook. The great tear down because the miraculous resurrection. They literally do this every time they lose an election. All hope is lost, the democrats are done. But wait! Here is some guy you never heard of that is the tits and you have to pledge all your love and loyalty to him even though he's really just saying the same damn old thing. No new ideas. No solutions. It's political theater. That's what this is. Don't get too excited.

Every ten or even twenty years. Enough time for one generation to die off and forget, and a new generation to grow up and become voters. "The [_____] have always been in power since I first started school. It's time for a change."

CNN cut ties with Trump supporter Jeffrey Lord, today. The Terrorist TV Network now has one less person on the panel for countering its FAKE news and Anti-America propaganda. Mr. Lord seems to be thrilled and relieved.

I would like to be a fly on the wall as each CNN "personality" goes on their "job interview" at the other networks. Imagine how much squirming around Anderson Cooper's gonna do trying to get hired by Fox.

Well i don't know, there's always places like MSNBC or ABC, CBS, etc.

She raises the most money in the Democratic party (and you are partily right, it is NOT because she is a good leader, she is completely bought off) and therefore buys her position. Don't pave over her blatant corruption with partisan name calling, call this crap out! Even if you are against the Dems, it's good for the country to get this crap out in the open.

Kamala Harris, there is another one. I'm going to be called a racist misogynist for calling her out as Hillary 2.0, but she takes campaign donations from the banks, so...

And right now supposedly the dems are grooming her and Corey Booker for climbing further up the ladder.

I agree that Dems are in disarray, right now. If they can find a good candidate in 2020 though, I could definitely see them dispatching Trump. As for 2018, Repubs have a big majority in the House, and almost all of the Senate seats up for re-election are Dem seats, many in states that Trump is still very popular in, like West Virginia. It would take a herculean effort, though not impossible, for Dems to reclaim either chamber. I think that is why so much effort is being put into connecting Trump and Russia, without something big happening there, Dems are toast for the next few years.

Or they could offer a new platform that works better for all those center voters put there that rejected the ultra socialist sjw message. Basically dial it back from the extreme left.

Of course theyd rather crash and burn than do that. So they may crash and burn.

It's not socialist, nor far left. It's faux liberal smoke screen for right wing policies, such as helping wall street and holding hands with the Republicans in foreign policy.

Actual far leftists traditionally focused on anti-empire, economic class issues, etc, not race, gender, and so on.
