Why has the site gotten so slow?

Hey.

Having an issue with the speed of the site lately.

Threads take over a minute to load and display.

Not all columns on the live page display immediately, "New" shows up right away, but it's a crap shoot about whether "Flagged" and "latest" will show up at page load or possibly during a column refresh.

Fairly certain it's not "just me". Two computers, with different OSs and different browsers give the same results. Signed in or not.

Hoping this doesn't get poo-pooed into obscurity!

It does sound like it's on your end, whether it be the PC's you are using or the speed/stability of your internet.

I access ATS from 3 separate "machines" and do not have any problems whatsoever.

well its lightening fast for me must be on your end

Ats on my tablet, phone, desktop and laptop are all fine....

Tablet samsung galaxy tab-a
Dell desktop
Toshiba laptop
Iphone 6 (both wireless and data load pages fine)

i had this exact same problem, and the back arrow on all 3 browsers i used would not work. once i became a member of ATS i have never had that problem again so long as i stay logged in.

Must be your ISP, or perhaps some malware or other issue on your end.

Runs normal/fine for me.

Nothing wrong with mine then, just clocked it at 180mb/s

There are times I have to hover over a star or flag and click several times before a flag or star will show up... Replies by some posters are being cut off just below their name.. The reply will show sometimes after you click for a star for them.. This has been happening this whole month for me.... But.... I am in a country that everything goes through their NSA which is sub par IMO for transparency.. Almost comical if it was not so invasive and fubar.

I'm not seeing any speed or load issues here either.

Try clearing cookies and cache for a start.

Ive tested at around 120 mb/s but ive had some odd issues starting a thread with a loading screen too. opened a new window and it was there
