Mandela Mud-Pit

Would you believe me if I told you that out of the last 130 or so threads, only 3 have been in the Mud-Pit? Yea, I didn't believe it either, but it's true, I counted. It felt like only yesterday this place was mud splattered warzone filled with a bunch of crazies slinging # everywhere, but right now, it feels a little different, it's a bit more calm, and a lot more clean.. I don't know, maybe it's just me..


And if you look hard enough, you can even spot a beautiful little tree growing in the middle of the battlefield.


And speaking of that tree, what a great metaphor it's trying to tell us -- that when you are finally able to calm down, take a step back and breathe.. there it is, that beautiful little tree growing right in the middle of it all, just to remind us that no matter what happens, life will always go on..

I don't post threads in the mudpit that often anymore. Im sick of the adhoms, name calling, deflections, and stalking by "you know who"...

I'll hop in the mudpit occasionally if there's an interesting thread, but the but.....Obama .....but Hillary threads and posts get boring after awhile.

The mud pit used to be about discussion even though a little salty, now it's the protect Trump at all costs forum, no discussion, no deviation from that agenda. In fact that's the way ATS as a whole has drifted...imo.

it's post election carpal tunnel, they keyboardists who know the solutions to everything on every topic will be back in the next major 'conflict'.
