Corrected. The commando element has been passed by a very small number of female soldiers, but no woman has ever completed the full thirty two week course required to serve as a Royal Marine Commando.

Simple biological and neurological differences, there are exception's to the rule but as a general rule of thumb.

Men are better hunting tactician's with instincts dating back to the hunter gatherer's and innate inherited trait's that make mastering hunting and warfare almost instinctual.

Woman are better organizers and better at running the home, they are in many ways more clever especially on the social level and are better talkers and listeners - men like to listen but are not always into all that small talk and petty gossip that is actually essential to woman's social status maintenance and advancement within the group.

Men are physically stronger but often not quite as long lived, this is simple really, men fight to defend and to hunt for the survival of the tribe, woman live longer to impart wisdom to the younger generation's and to pass along tale's and the lesson's of the past generation's.

Woman are better around small children than men will ever be, we do not have the instinct for it though we do have love for our kid's and tribe and we will die to protect them.

Woman can fight, when the men were away hunting only the old men and the woman were at home so they then protected there family's but they are not as good at it as men are of course - in general once again there are exception's and some pretty tough lady's out there and always have been.

Intelligence is equal but we are tailored differently in that respect also, men love sport a little more because it allow's the tribal banding and bonding in a modern take on the old ceremony's, we like to play it more than watch it but as we age that changes to the other way around - once we start losing to the younger members of the tribe, this too is male bonding and also the modern take upon the hunt and the battle.

This also varies by ethnicity, there are or rather were for example step tribes of the pre Turk people's such as the REAL amazon's whose descendant's today live in southern Russia and former Soviet republic's in southern central Asia and are mixed with the later Turkic people's were a distinct group, though they shared auburn and reddish hair with the Celt's of the west they were often taller and stronger, woman over 5'6" and even 6' were a common trait, they were more strongly built as well and in there culture the woman and the men were both warrior's as indeed was also common in the Celtic culture.
There may even be truth to the legend that the Amazon woman whom were horse warrior's and used bow's and spear's did indeed cut off one of there breasts but it is unlikely, they probably bound there chests though so that they could handle there bow's unfettered by the physical attribute.

In Japan many Samurai were actually woman including some very great and famous warrior's of there past, there gender did not matter so much as there skill and remember Boudicca Queen of the Icenea.

My personal opinion those is that mixed regiment's are a bad idea, soldiers fall in love, young men full of there hormone's would act illogically to protect there female comrades and endanger them all and of course when it is a wounded woman lying out on the battle field crying in pain are all those strapping, strong young men going to leave her as they may have to there brother or will the emotion make them act less logically as there hunter gatherer instinct to protect there female tribe member take's over.

The case for mixed gender is that women don't rape and they could act as "moral compass" of the group.

It might be a good enough compromise despite lower performance. US troops have superior equipment anyways

Military proficiency is more than just being good with a gun.

the gun is a tool the weapon is the mind !
and it all depends on whether you look after and tune that weapon in the military

There are spots all over the military for women where they will, at the least, equal their male counterparts. Combat infantry or special forces, unless she is unusual, isn't one of them. Doesn't mean they can't fight, if need be. My older sister had to fight while in the military (it never officially happened) during her time in the navy on Crete.

She survived, along with her fellow sailors, the bad guys didn't.

Women have fought, are fighting, will fight. Same as men.

Bad ass, brave as hell, warriors.

more graceful and look better at it , but maybe that's just my opinion haha

Id have to disagree men are not better at sport than women in every aspect of sport
