I don't think it's "cute".

The little sh#ts application beat mine.

I didn't even get a letter back!

Love the response and the change of direction for this agency. A lot better than the previous admin where they wanted muslims feel good about their contribution to the species.

Giving the job to a 9 year old, 30 year old, or 50 year old. What's the difference? It's still a dumb do nothing job. Get his parents to sign a waiver on labor laws and give him the job. He would do just as good a job as anyone else and probably better.

Well, at least he didn't say he wanted to grow up and become a jobless full-time Social Justice Warrior while living in his mom's basement.

Go Jack!

He also didn't say he hoped if he trained hard enough at the compound, he could grow up to protect the sanctity of the white race from corruption through miscegenation and rid Christian America of the mud people the ZOG let in.

Adorable. If I were his Mom, I would have the letter framed for him.

I read his name as John Connor.

"I'll be back."

This is a nice story. I hope he grows up and becomes an "alien-hunter" for NASA just like he now wishes to.

One odd thing i noticed is that the letter is dated Aug 3, 2017 ? So NASA already got his letter, responded and released to the press in only 2 days. Hmm.. Well, maybe it was scanned and sent through email. Just a very fast response and release of the letter, either way.

Still cool

DBC, you know good and well that they don't hire aliens over 40 for the Planetary Protection Service.

Dear Jack,

Study biology and tell your sister she is full of it.

Very cool of NASA.

They need good PR and they also need to funding.

We've neglected the space program for far too long.

I love the part about thinking like an alien. We need more kids like this.

The way NASA would have responded if they were NOT
aware of an alien presence would be more like:

Thanks Jack !
We need more with your spirit!
And if we run into aliens, you'll be
the first we call on !
Hugs,
NASA

So aliens exist, case closed..

Give him a few years. At age 9 a child's brain is not yet developed enough for the level of outward cognitive thought you are referring to.

Ages 7-11 children are beginning to become aware of their external world. Meaning they are beginning to realize there are others around them with thoughts and feelings other than their own. This is the time where they become less egocentric.

Ages 11 and up is where they begin to use logic to solve problems. Observe the physical world and begin to plan for the future.

This is the stage of a child's brain development where he will begin to think as you seem to think he should at age 9.

Very cool!

Now, who is going to explain to him that the job is pointless because there is no life anywhere in our solar system beyond Earth?

Sadly, ET died of an overdose of Fentanyl when he was mainlining his last speedball of heroin after visiting Earth.

Sorry Jack.
