My grandfathers fought that war.

They knew more about it than you ever will, and they taught me all they knew about it, INCLUDING the FACT that Hitlers Nazis were NOT socialist, no matter what the name of their party happens to have been. They were every bit a totalitarian, authoritarian, far right group, and nothing else, as the real socialists in Europe found out to their great cost, since many of them were executed right along with the Jews and the other racial, ethnic and religious groups who were massacred to fulfill Hitlers vision of the future.

Hey sorry for the late addition but you are speaking absolute truth, the NAZI's were not socialist at all, they had a socialist element until the night of the long knives and during that they purged the socialists from among there own rank's, they were already in power by that point and this purge left them to simply be NATIONALISTS with extreme prejudice but they of course kept the name though there was from that point onward nothing socialist about them at all.
